Wellllllll after years of boycotting this place I decided to give it another try. I?m assuming the original owners no longer own... this place anymore. Sooooo with that being said the current lake house is a 10/10 in the Castleton area. The drinks 10 the foodanother 10 service 10. The original items that I loved are still on the menu just better! Was just in the area visiting family and they took us to The Lake House for dinner. Over all it was a great experience. Great... views, great service and good food. It was a Sunday night and they had a live band playing which helped set the over all mood. The only real negative would be the price of the food for what you got. It seems like you were paying for everything else whichis why I only gave it a 4 vs 5 star. Other than that if your in the area I would recommend this place. Oh, One side note, ifyour watching your gluten intake your choices are limited more than most place you might visit. They don't really have anythinggluten free but they will work with you to make your meal gluten friendly. Read more

Great location! Parking is a little rough but you can park at Crystal beach and walk over. Food was alright! Good flavor but the... meat wasn?t cooked the best. We ordered a steak rare and it came out pretty cooked. Making it not worth the $30 ticketprice. But other than that, an alright establishment! I will go there again just for apps instead of dinner. Absolutely loved it! We sat outside on the deck during twilight hours. Spectacular view. The food was delicious. Never had... Brussel sprouts before but the baby Brussel sprouts were awesome. A little sweet and crunchy. The white wine butter clam saucewas excellent. Steak was nice and tender and the ribs I had were very good. One of the best things was it's pet friendly. Dogsare allowed and they serve them water and treats. Also if you have a boat they have dock side service minus alcohol. It was avery nice experience overall and would absolutely recommend it to any visitor. A must go. Read more
Great views and wonderful wait staff. Food was 7 outta 10. Lettuce wraps were amazing. So many flavors and perfect portion.... Drinks were a little high priced but delicious. Definitely make reservations via email. Read more
It has been two years waiting to get back to a normal sunset dinner at the Lake House. The food was delicious, beer selection is... always on point, and the views never disappoint.They have Gluten-Free options if you have an allergy, which can be a tough findin VT. My waitress Kenzie was absolutely amazing, as well as all the other staff. Everyone was super friendly and personable. Ihighly recommend checking them out! The Lake House Bomoseen! Great lounge bar area! Delicious wings ! Beautiful aesthetic across from the lake! Bar seating... downstairs and upstairs laid back lounge area!
