Delicious classic lemon cake!!! Ordered a small lemon cake with glaze and it was PERFECT. I used to bake professionally and I... beyond impressed. Perfect crust, perfectly moist and dense inside. The pound cake is amazing! The right amount of sweet, dense and moist. Everything pound cake should be. We tried individual... slices of lemon, 5 flavor, almond and chocolate. I stopped in for the first time yesterday thinking it was just cupcakes, but Iwas pleasantly surprised. This is going to be my new pound cake place in RVA! Amazing place with great customer service! I got the Reuben recommended by the owner (I believe his name was David), and it was... delicious! I ordered it alongside the tomato soup and the almond cake. Both were fresh and delicious as well. He mentioned thereis a sister location down the block where they sell full cakes. I was tempted to buy some but had to travel after. Additionally,the place is beautifully decorated and they have a lineup of natural plants both on the tables and on the side. It'd be a greatplace to enjoy lunch and read a book. Overall, I'd definitely return! 10/10 recommended. Read more
