My wife and I had great coffee and bagel sandwiches on a busy Sunday morning. I enjoyed a sausage, egg, and cheese on a sesame... bagel. She had a bacon, egg, and cheese, on a GLUTEN FREE bagel! We love that they offer quality gluten free bread options asshe deals with celiac disease and so many places don't have options for her. As the shop is relatively small, it can get prettycrowded but we were still able to find a seat to enjoy our sandwiches. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our latteswere excellent and are priced competitively. Skip Starbucks and Dunkin' and head to Perk! Read more

One of my favorite coffee spots in the city. The cold brew is great here. It does get pretty busy mornings/weekends but they... crank out the drinks and food pretty fast. Staff is friendly and the people watching is fun. Read more

My favorite thing to do on travel assignments is find awesome coffee spots, and this one is probably my favorite in Richmond.... They feature several local roasters, all of which have been fantastic. The service is always prompt and the team is always nice.I make a point to go here every time I am assigned to Richmond, and so far, I have never been disappointed. Read more

Always a pleasant, uplifting experience. I'm not vegan but the vegan treats are some of our favorites! And of course the bacon... cheddar biscuits are divine. Read more

I have rarely encountered such a friendly and welcoming staff. They almost exclusively remember my face and are warm and... personable. The range of sandwiches and baked goods is so varied that you could never get tired of the options. The coffee isalso very good. It is such a local gem and I could not recommend more highly! Their vegan brownies are to die for, and I?m noteven vegan. Read more

We love Perk! It?s not our closest coffee shop by a long shot, but we?ll make a trip for the courteous staff who are always... willing to answer questions or make recommendations; the children?s corner, which lets us relax a little knowing our daughterhas a place to play while we enjoy coffee; and lastly, the incredible food! I love how connected Perk! seems to be to thecommunity and welcoming to all. Don?t let the strip mall location fool you. This place is a unique gem. One wish would be alittle more outdoor seating! I never write reviews, but we went to this place bc it had such good reviews. We were excited to get out of the house for the... first time with our newborn. We ordered food for pickup bc we weren?t ready to attempt to eat in a restaurant yet (those withkids will understand)?but we were so disappointed. We ordered a breakfast sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and avocado (chargesyou $3.50 extra), and none of that was on it. So, sure. That?s frustrating. But? it happens. The bad part came when my husbandtook a bite of said sandwich, and the paper parchment cheese wrapper had been COOKED INTO THE SANDWICH. Like, cmon. How doesthat get 4.7 stars?!?So I?m writing my review bc I don?t want other people to get fooled by the same thing. I was all aboutsupporting a local coffee shop, but that?s just inedible. I wanted to cry after having spent the time to get my baby in the carand make this our first family outing. ???? We tried to call four times?nobody ever answered the phone. Read more
