Nice clean restaurant. I ordered the seafood chowder (delish!) and it was enhanced by drinking Iceberg beer. My son ordered the... moose burger and said he liked it. The food was good but I wouldn't say exceptional. Read more
Had Lunch on the deck of Ragged Rocks yesterday it was a very hot day so we enjoyed a light lunch on the deck under an... umbrella. I had a Lighthouse Salad which is basically a garden salad and my wife had a Caesar Salad with Chicken. Portionsizes were good and the salads were fresh and very good. I chose the house made Blueberry Vinigrete which was amazing on theSalad. This is a very nice pub in the heart of Bonivista ... it was not our first visit and we have enjoyed good food andhospitality when we visited. Read more
We ordered two ''Mighty Moose'' burgers for take out (one with side salad, other with fries). Honestly one of the best meals... we've had in Newfoundland. Very friendly staff too. Best restaurant in Bonavista in my opinion. Read more
Ragged Rocks has a well deserved high rating. Great service, great food, highly recommended. We had the RR Burger with a huge... Garden salad and the Scallop Toutons. Pair it with some Iceberg beer and a glass of wine and you will have an excellent meal.You Gotta Eat Here. Read more

First off the service was pretty good but this place needs to do something to absorb noise inside. There was a table of eight... there before us and were so loud my wife and I could barely hear each other. My wife enjoyed her chowder but my ribs weredefinitely under cooked. I know these are cooked well in advance of being ordered but properly cooked ribs should easily comeapart when you pull on them, I needed to use my knife.
