Had Lunch on the deck of Ragged Rocks yesterday it was a very hot day so we enjoyed a light lunch on the deck under an... umbrella. I had a Lighthouse Salad which is basically a garden salad and my wife had a Caesar Salad with Chicken. Portionsizes were good and the salads were fresh and very good. I chose the house made Blueberry Vinigrete which was amazing on theSalad. This is a very nice pub in the heart of Bonivista ... it was not our first visit and we have enjoyed good food andhospitality when we visited. Read more
We ordered two ''Mighty Moose'' burgers for take out (one with side salad, other with fries). Honestly one of the best meals... we've had in Newfoundland. Very friendly staff too. Best restaurant in Bonavista in my opinion. Read more
Ragged Rocks has a well deserved high rating. Great service, great food, highly recommended. We had the RR Burger with a huge... Garden salad and the Scallop Toutons. Pair it with some Iceberg beer and a glass of wine and you will have an excellent meal.You Gotta Eat Here. Read more
We arrived around 9pm so only the bar menu was being served (reasonable for a Sunday!) - we ordered most things from the menu -... veggie nachos, deep fried pickles, mozza sticks, fries, onion rings, The staff were wonderfully friendly and very attentive!Thanks! Read more
We had supper at Ragged Rocks a couple nights ago while visiting Bonavista. I messaged the night before asking if I could make a... reservation. They said they don?t take reservations, but I mentioned that I?m a wheelchair user and it?s hard to find somewhereto eat so they made an exception for us. I also asked if our server could wear a mask because I?m medically vulnerable and wouldlike that extra protection while I?m eating and can?t wear my own. So when we showed up for supper, all of the servers put maskson while we were there which made me feel safe and cared for. I have food allergies that they were awesome about and they workedwith my dietary restrictions to ensure I had a delicious meal that wouldn?t make me sick. I had the salmon bowl and it wasgreat. I also had a strawberry rhubarb mojito which was so good! In terms of accessibility, it was pretty great. We parked in anaccessible spot next door, there was a ramp up the side of the building, lots of room to maneuver my wheelchair inside and thewashroom was decently accessible. Only issue was how heavy the side door and washroom door were. Overall though, I loved itthere and would return. Amazing service and food. Read more

First off the service was pretty good but this place needs to do something to absorb noise inside. There was a table of eight... there before us and were so loud my wife and I could barely hear each other. My wife enjoyed her chowder but my ribs weredefinitely under cooked. I know these are cooked well in advance of being ordered but properly cooked ribs should easily comeapart when you pull on them, I needed to use my knife.
