Walked in on Sunday afternoon. With only 2 other guests dining. We were told to seat ourselves and we did. Waited while many... servers walked by and never said anything to us. I travel for my job. I've gotten food at Roma in Bonham before, had exemplary service. I was disappointed with this... experience. I made a pick up order on 9/15/22. I was asked what salad dressing I wanted for my side salad but received nosalad. I also received no eating utensils. Good thing I have some since I travel. The young lady at the counter was nicebut not friendly. I wasn't even fully through the door and she was saying "are you here for a pickup order?". I would thinkthat she would ask how she could help me first. I don't usually complain, but Roma needs some staff training. Read more
Delicious! Traveling through and happened upon this delightful roadside restaurant. Unassuming on the outside, charming on the... inside. Everyone was smiley and pleasant here. Food is delicious! I ordered the Spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and basil...side of myshrooms... side of vegetables. Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Yum! Huge servings (lol) way more than this chick could eat. Food is excellent, service is the best. I love the home made pastas and sauces. Try the Murphy's chicken for a little taste of... Texas Roma's style or chicken and veggies for a light lunch. Never disappointed! Read more
First time I went I had their cheese pizza, and was not happy with it. Seemed salty, no flavor and the dough seemed manufactured... as in spongy was not expecting that. SECOND time the pizza was the exact same. I will have to try the other items because I amnot going to base the whole store on just their pizza. The employees are very nice and cordial. Read more
My visits to this restaurant have always been at least moderately pleasant. The dim lighting gives it a slightly elegant and... mysterious atmosphere. The turnover for the waitresses can be irritating, as they are frequently young girls from the highschool and you never know if she will be great and attentive or if she will disappear until your ready for the check. Overall,this establishment has a wide variety of options - whether you don't even want to eat Italian at an Italian restaurant, haveallergies, or are vegetarian -- and I've always enjoyed their food. I had my doubts. This place is located in a shopping strip not stand alone. When I ordered the ribeye, the waitress asked me if... I needed "steak sauce" which is never a good sign for steak. HOWEVER, the steak was amazing as was the bread rolls! Perhaps thesoftest, fluffiest, bread rolls ever! The steak was cooked to perfection and definitely did not need steak sauce. The sautéedvegetables were great. The only complaint is too much dressing on the Caesar salad. Other than that, excellent restaurant andthey kept my Diet Coke filled! Read more
So glad we stumbled upon this gem traveling. The service was great. Our server was super attentive and very polite. She even... laughed at our dumb jokes. Points for her. The food was fantastic and flavorful. Rolls were out of this world, and taken up anotch by the olive oil, garlic, and basil we ordered for dipping. House salad dressing was unique and fresh. Homemade pasta(props) and sauce were perfect. Oh, and not to forget the best stuffed mushrooms I?ve ever had. Will definitely be back nexttime we drive through.
