I get there and not to busy just a few tables were seated. The cook was hard at work and the 3 waitresses we're just... complaining up a storm. Standing there waiting on food when the cook needed plates, bowls and asked for help and they justlooked at him and he had to stop cooking to get the plates restocked while they stood there complaining. He even mentioned thatthey could help him to get him caught up. They didn't and to me your only as good as your team and that team needs a manager tostraighten out the constant bickering from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. Don't let first impressions sway you if you like eating at Waffle House. They don't have steak, and they don't have hot... chocolate. They have a huge parking area across the street. Attempted to call a to go order in and was given an automated message that they are limiting the "to go orders" and if I would... like to come dine in, they'd be happy to serve me. However, when you're an ER Nurse, it's 4am, and you are hungry and now havethe time to eat.....this makes it a tad impossible!! When did Waffle House quit taking to go orders??? Read more
I was pleasantly surprised by the top notch service. Macy greeted us and welcomed us. Then provided the most thorough ordering... process I have ever received. After taking our order she came back to let us know the cook was cleaning the grill so there wouldbe a slight delay. We were definitely okay with that and pleased that she had let us know. Our food was cooked perfectly andabsolutely delicious. This Waffle House was definitely the cleanest I have ever been in. This was our first time at thisparticular one. This is easily the cleanest waffle house I have ever been to. Every staff member in the building was incredibly nice and... friendly. The cook gave us a heads up that there'd be a slight wait so he could clean the grill, which was considerate andhelped us feel good about the quality of the food we'd get. Lots of staff cooking and serving to expedite orders. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and attentive; she never let us run out... of coffee and anything we requested she brought right to the table without delay. Hash browns on the blonde side but delicious. Read more
Great service and food. Like most places they need help to maintain cleanliness. But the girls worked hard here.
