I cannot believe this place gets good reviews. Horrible service. The lady was clearly unhappy as soon as we walked in. We... ordered and she seemed inconvenienced. At one point she handed me plates of food to serve to my family when I asked for a cleancup. Horrible food. Bland meat drenched in what I think was supposed to be bbq sauce. Mac and cheese looked like slop. Chickenwas cold and tiny for what I paid for it. Tri-tip was cold, not well cooked, and clearly old meat. Beef ribs were laughable.Literally bones is what was served to me. Pork ribs were the only thing cooked properly but bland and swimming in sauce.Coleslaw was full of liquid. Corn was sour. I swear I?m still digesting the small amount of food I tried to eat. The place wasnot clean. I spent $150 on food to feed my family; and it was beyond a disappointment. Disgusting. Read more

I followed my nose to this little place and so it smells so good that we decided to give it a try. The 1st thing we noticed is... that it was a little pricey. I ended up ordering a Tri tip sandwich with a with a potato salad as aside. My friend ordered theTri tip platter. I also got a side of onion rings. My Tri tip sandwich was really good it had a good sauce the meat was soft andthe potato salad was was slightly different that I'm used to but I was quite pleased with it. The Onion rings were some of thebest onion rings I've had in a very long time good flavor good batter for the rings and they gave some ranch which alwayscompliments everything. My friends tried to platter the Tri tip was a large mound on the plate and It came with 3 garlic breadsticks and I believe aside aside and he got the macaroni and cheese But said it had almost no flavor. All in all the Tri tip wasa nice smokey flavor at ever and if you like tried to like tried tip it's definitely a good place to get some Tri tip barbecue. Read more

Hi Everybody:) Long time occasional customer, first time review. 4/3/22 I gave my father in law an impromptu (well 1 week... planned) 95th bday party. So, since Covid this is was the biggest event we pulled off, this time having pitched a tent for theoutside and having propane heat for the cold wind. So in order to encourage ppl to come, we would highlight Lil Alex Beef Ribsin the menu invite ???? and the crowd came... 65 beef rib bones later. So two "beefs" I will mention. The order was not keptin a place where the food would maintain its heat. Secondly, by the time everyone ate I finally had a moment for me to eat. Mybeef rib was dry and burnt and I was left with that lingering burnt taste. What a terrible impression I may have left behind.I hope no one else had that experience. So I gave it another try after the party so that this review was better. Yes, that ribredeemed this review. It was so delicious and juicy and an amazing BBQ flavor. The BBQ sauce is yummy! Finger smacking good!Yes, I still recommend it. BUT...Nobody should have to pay $36.99 plus tax for burnt BBQ ribs. Especially when u paid for alarge order. Read more
Nice place to grab a plate of BBQ. I heard the Tri tip was great but i grabbed the beef bones and they were edible. Flavor had... a real weird tase but the sides were good. Chicken is awesome! Very expensive and not worth the money! However, itscaliforniaaaaaa! Read more
Lil Alex BBQ Rack of ribs with coleslaw and bbq beans. Ribs were covered with a sweet tangy bbq sauce that was mild. Sweet bbq... beans and the coleslaw is creamy with light sauce...on point! Ribs taste great. We have had meatier but these are stilldecent! Santa Fe Tri Tip Sandwich with mac and cheese. Mac and Cheese is only available on weekends. M&C was good. The tri tipsandwich had a good smokey flavor. Meat was cooked well. I could have used more sauce, but overall great food for a decentprice. Green Flash West Coast IPA for a beverage. Quality of coleslaw left the biggest impression. Read more
Restaurant is run down and dirty. Food was consumable. Mac and cheese was watery, and burger came with ciabatta bread. Too many... better options near by, won?t be back. Read more
