Upscale ambiance. Does not feel like a chain restaurant. We tried 4 starters while sitting at the bar on Thursday all night... happy hour. All the food was interesting, well prepared and tasty, except for the shishito peppers that seemed very over cookedto me. The barkeep made me a mezcal jalapeno margarita that was delicious. We went here for Mother’s Day looking for a different type of cuisine. From the hostess to the waiter, the service was... excellent, attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and there are many seating areas and options indoorsand out. We opted for the special brunch menu and tried the Blackened Salmon which was well prepared and came with sautéedpotatoes and spinach. I opted for the new scallops dish on the regular menu which was rather boring to be honest. Hardly anyflavor or creativity in the scallops or risotto. The lobster bisque was delicious, creamy and loaded with lobster. The crab andshrimp cocktail is a must have! The sushi that was on the brunch menu had a crunchy flaky outside with tuna and asparagus. Tothat off with crab eggs Benedict which was a huge portion and you have a great test of the kitchen. Overall even though Ididn’t like the scallops we enjoyed Roy’s and would recommend it to others. Read more

Our favorite place when we visit this part of Florida. Fantastic service and awesome drinks and food. Misoyaki butterfish is... their signature dish and that's what you have to try if you haven't become a fan already. Read more

My boyfriend took me to Roy's to celebrate my Valentine Birthday but on Friday February 11. He made reservations (6:30pm) and... we were seated immediately. They had a birthday card from Roy's and it was on the table. It was so nice and very pretty. Ourserver (a female) was very efficient and attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine while we looked over the menus and by the timeshe returned we were ready to order. More and more people kept being seated (the bar area was already completely full when wearrived) but every course arrived right on time. The restaurant is beautiful but didn't not seem overly loud as it filled up.For us; this is a pricey special occasion type of place, so we dressed up. Many people are in shorts, flip flops, and jeans. The food was delicious and just the right amount. We did share the fish 4 ways and really enjoyed it. Roy's also treated me toa small key lime dessert after our dinner. Read more

Good food, friendly wait staff. I liked the edamame table starter instead of bread A lot of down time between ordering and... courses and it was not overly busy. The Butterfield and tuna was excellent. Drinks were a little overpriced but made well. Read more
