Food excellent! Brown gravy & potatoes you could make a meal on by their self! Service, always had a drink & clear plates away!... Ice cream was creamy! Not ice milk! Tea drink was perfect sweetness! Mostly residents which creates a down home atmosphere where folks know each other. Wait staff are friendly and attentive for... drink refills and clearing used plates. This is a buffet with a wide variety of choices. Menu choices change each day anddifferent for lunch and dinner. Fried chicken is the #1 item and deserves its reputation. Also the fried shrimp is tender anddelicious. Usually at least 4 different protein choices, 3 hot vegetables and 2-3 starches. And don't forget to check thehomemade desserts. Chocolate cake goes really fast and hot fruit cobbler is wonderful. Only complaint is over salting especiallythe green beans and brown gravy. Read more
The owner is an arrogant a$$ to both his employees and his customers. Always being rude to his staff in front of customers and... walks around like he is better than everyone. But the food is usually good. They do have the best salad bar around. Read more
