WOW! We are blown away with Al Lago. We decided to book them for our June wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made!... Our guests are still raving about the delicious food served! Charity was such a pleasure to work and made planning so easy andenjoyable. She was very professional, responsive and ensured some of our strict dietary restrictions would be taken care of withease. We can definitely tell Al Lago would not be the same without her presence! The staff that catered on our wedding day wereamazing as well and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! This place is amazing. The pasta and clams are the best. Get bread to dip in the broth after you eat the clams. Service can be... a bit slow but it's worth the wait. Everyone is very nice as well and live music on Fridays Read more

It was lackluster at best. We were seated inside a dark, drab dining room which was disappointing. I was looking forward to... dining outside, enjoying the water view but we weren't offered an outdoor table. I took a brochure but it was stuck with guminside. Alfredo is $20 (base) +$12 to add chicken that was very dry and didn't seem to be seasoned. It's all in the details whengoing out for a fine dining experience and this wasn't it. Update: the owner response ???? You completely missed the point. Asthe customer, paying $100+ for food and drinks, I should be wowed by the restaurant. That's not on me. Do better! Read more

I am not normally one to write reviews, in fact it is an extremely rare occasion! But our experience this afternoon was... incredible so I felt compelled to write one! We went to Al Lago for our anniversary lunch and everything was top notch startingwith the fact that they were able to get us in 30 minutes before our reservation, no questions asked even though they were superbusy due to the live bad they had today. The service was amazing (drinks were never empty and food came out all perfectlytimed). Beautiful view of Lake Tapps and the mountain made it even more amazing. Great way to spend our anniversary and we areso thrilled we found this amazing gem which is only 15 minutes from us!! Definitely recommend! P.S. Try the Buffalo cauliflowerand calamari ???? What a pleasant surprise to finally visit and enjoy a bottle of wine and a pair of amazing meals at my table, seared ahi and... spaghetti squash puttenesca. The polenta was out of this world, and worthy of a return just for that. I would hope in thefuture appetizer selectiona could be more light as everything on that menu was more like a small heavy item, but that wouldn'taway a five star rating...it's that good. Read more

Just went there for a birthday dinner. I’ve dined there off and on for years. Love the ambiance in the bar, the food has... always been delicious. The appetizers were delicious. However, both our dinners were not. Chicken parm, the chicken was overcooked and was not a cutlet. It was a thick piece of breast. Not pounded out, tough, overdone. My friend had theshrimp/chicken something. Sauce was bland, chicken pieces over cooked and shrimp rubbery. The waiter offered to bring somethingelse, but since it was not his fault we said no. I’ve recommended this place to all my friends over the years. Verydisappointed as my friend was treating me. Was there on a Friday night. My food was terrible, with tough tough chicken so hard to cut. Sent it back. Our waiter was... nice, but they were incredibly understaffed so service was so-so; however, we felt it was not the waiter's fault at all. It wasthe restaurant. This is the second time I've been to Al Lago. After the first time, I swore I would never go back since thefood was not good and overpriced. But, friends wanted to eat on the Al Lago deck. Deck was nice, BUT, cars raced by (racedpurposely in a noisy way). Not so nice of a deck after all. And, combine that with "out-of-the-can" food, the only things Ienjoyed were our friends and the bottle of wine. Avoid this place if you want good food, even descent food. This is my favorite spot in my area. The food is amazing. Ive tried a few dishes there and always been very happy. I must... recommend the Terra e Mare! Its a little on the spicy side but its bursting with flavors, the shrimp and the sausage pairtogether wonderfully and the sauce is excellent. Ive had that one a few times and I love it! Read more
