Drive thru took over 30 minutes. Once you're in the line you're stuck there. Service was poor (refused to let folks order at the... window), and the milkshake wasn't mixed well. This isn't consistent with better Cook Out experiences at other locations. Read more
Came here after a wedding at midnight. Absolutely jonesing for a cookout tray.and they came through clutch. Made sure we had... what we needed, enough sauces and everything. 6 stars for the boys in Boone. A must visit if you are visiting or in town for anevent. Read more
The drive thru is a little busy sometimes, but the line moves pretty quick
Inconsistency is the main experience at Cook Out - sometimes the food is great with huge portion sizes, other times it's just... average. You have to keep your expectations in the right place when coming here. My most recent experience was sub-par. I got 4onion rings for one of my sides, and nothing came on my burger (I didn't know I had to specify?) The Snickers shake was verygood though. Hopefully next time will be better. Read more
First and last time eating something from this business. My first thought when the bag was handed to me was how light it was. I... opened this small sandwich and nearly gagged! Not only was this the smallest piece of chicken I?ve ever purchased (definitelyNOT worth $5) it was disgusting looking! Small mushy bun smeared with what looked like mayo and barbecue sauce (I orderedbarbecue, period) with a couple of nasty looking pickle slices and the teeny part of a chicken breast; half of a modest half ofa chicken breast. Must have been sitting in the wrapper for quite a while. Pitiful! If we hadn?t been in a big hurry to get to afamily party I would have gotten a refund. Don?t waste your time with this place. The line at cookout always moves swiftly as long as the customers don't debate on their order, and the staff has always gotten... my milkshake order correct. The milk milkshake choices alone are worth stopping here for! The new larger straws when available,are so much better! We were very happy with our caramel cheesecake and Hershey milkshake order. If you don't want to have tostir it with a spoon the larger straws work great too stir and drink. Read more
Not good! It amazes me this place is this busy. The burger was horrible. I was so suprised this was what was being served. The... thinnest overcooked piece of meat on a tiny little bun. Like char grilled cardboard. The sides were a joke. Cheese bites tastedlike grease, onion rings were average, and the fries were just sad. Kid got a quesadilla and it was a tortilla with cheeseinside. No way to mess that up I guess. The saving grace and the second star was due to a pretty good milkshake. Will notreturn. It was really busy. Which i thought would make the food fresher. We spent 36.62 and the hotdogs had barely and slaw or chili,... when we came to the order sign we were not greeted at all. I had to say "hello". Which she replied "order when your ready". I amfed up with these smug young people who act like they owe us. Food service is your business make the dawg gone food good.
