Used to frequent this place when I worked nearby. Our most recent visit was disappointing. We went on a weekend afternoon for a... late lunch. We ordered an appetizer (edemame) while deciding our meals. We ordered entrees and they came out very quickly -before the edemame! We had lunch specials, mine was teriyaki chicken. It was very dry & bland The entree included soup and riceso it was filling. The edemame was fairly cold when it came out about halfway through our meal. The timing of the items wasnever addressed by the waitstaff and if asked I would have canceled the edemame. We did not complain at the time because itseemed that the staff was overwhelmed/overworked/stressed. Although we saw at least 4-5 people working front-of-house, it seemedas if they were understaffed. The restaurant did not feel as if it is cleaned thoroughly very often. The floors were sticky &footprints were visible in the layer of grease/gunk on the LVT floors. Zero stars is more like it. The food has zero flavor. The staff is horrible. Some were talking trash about a manager. While... ordering I personally asked for NO mushrooms and my food was covered with them. It was taken back to be corrected and it wasn'tfixed at all. Friendly waitstaff and family atmosphere. Hot and made ti order from menu or by request. Great value for the price. Definitely... worth the visit and the sushi bar is an added bonus for the sashimi lovers. Read more
