I'm reviewing waveland west because I've been here at least 2 dozen times and the food is always 10/10. I'm a hard foodie to... please as I've been a banquet chef at a local prestigious country club and that I'm a vegetarian. This is the go to breakfastestablishment on the west side of the metro. This place has a nice dive bar feel with good home style cooking. Worthy of a 5 star if the service wasn?t so bad. They greet... everyone with distain as if you inconvenience them by coming in. I am sure if you were a regular (favorite) the experience isdifferent. However, the crone that waits there may just need to find another job if her interpersonal skills are so bad that herdaughter needs to make up for her mistakes. Read more
I liked it! We sat on the bar side because we felt like being in that kind of atmosphere and it was perfect. We got bloody... mary's and mimosas for drinks. I ordered the Lumberman (half order of biscuits and gravy on top of hash browns) and a side ofbacon. I was going to try eating here with my fiancé. when I came in I was guided to the cafe side, the server asked me not to sit... down. The servers were very rude and not welcoming at all. I chose to leave rather than be treated like this. In short, neveragain. Just to let you know, the server from the bar side who was very accommodating was the one who said that I can take thattable and that lead me to there. Thanks for that wonderful response dear owner!
