Stopped here on the way to Mendocino and it should be a destination unto itself. The best pizza we?ve had in a long time (and... we?re regulars of Delfina pizzeria). We had the smoked tomato and cheese pizza (for the little one), the chorizo pizza and agreen salad. The chorizo was so thinly sliced that it crisped up and was almost a cross between a pepperoni and prosciutto. Andwith the olives, it was perfection. The crust is not too doughy or chewy or dry. Even the little one ate all her crust insteadof leaving a bunch of dry bread for me to finish up like she does at other places. I also loved the casualness of therestaurant and how open it is. We ordered our food on the drive up so we wouldn?t have to wait as long. When we arrived, wecould seat ourselves outside, get our own plates, silverware and water. It was so much easier than flagging down someone to helpyou. The outside tables were really cute and there was a lot of space between tables. Even the inside seems well ventilatedbecause of the big open doors. After dinner, we got ice cream from Paysanne, in the same building. Pizza and ice cream?theperfect start to a weekend away. We stopped for dinner not knowing anything about this restaurant. The food was exquisite. We ordered the asparagus and... broccolini in addition to two pizzas (smoked tomato and carbonara) for the four of us. Had only two slices left over. Thevegetables were fresh and flavorful. The crust was just right and the toppings were delicious. The teenagers are already talkingabout coming back to eat here. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was pleasant. Read more
Pizza was great, I got a warm farro salad too which was yummy and filling. Pizzas are a good size. My only complaint is that it... was a bit cold because the doors were open, however I understand why they had to have them open. Hopefully things change so Ican comfortably dine indoors again soon Read more
