Yeah had a lot of the same great taste that I always remembered from being a kid. My only complaint is that all of our buns seem... to fall apart. Almost like they were old. But the root beer was fabulous and the hamburgers had that original taste that youjust can't copy Read more

The place is off the highway a couple of miles. Worth the trip compared to Wendy's if you ask me. It's an old school building... and interior. A blast from the past. Food service was quick. There is a big fireplace burning inside with some cool memorabiliaon the walls. The bathrooms could use updating otherwise this is 5 stars. The kids liked their food also. Great staff nocomplaints. This place is an absolute treasure of nostalgia!! The restaurant has a style all it's own set in an era gone by. The draft mugs... for your root beer are simply amazing. The food is always good the curds are always cheesy and the service is first-class. Thisplace is worth the veer off I-70 into Boonville. Read more

Always very enjoyable to visit here! There's something about getting a frozen mug of fresh root beer, that's just downright... nostalgic! The food is always fresh, & hot! The staff is always friendly, & I love sitting next to the fire! I only got a rootbeer, & cheese curds during this visit...but, it was all good! Read more

Don't see too many A&W restaurants around but when you see the sign, you know what you are thinking of for food, drink and... dessert. It does not disappoint. I was very glad I stopped and shared the experience with my granddaughter. I love the rootbeer floats the best. I will probably always stop at an A&W when I see one. Think you will love it too. Been passing this for years but never at lunchtime. Finally passing through at lunch time to get some A&W. I was so excited and... then so disappointed. Ordered my burger with no onion and changed fries for cheese curds. Not what I got. Seemed like theburger had extra onion and warm fries (no cheese curds). It wasn?t that busy even. Even if you pick the onion off it stilltaste and smells like onion. That?s one giant fail A&W. I was on a road trip and already down the road when I discovered thisor I would have returned it. Thanks for nothing. Read more

It?s one of the few remaining stand-alone A&Ws and that?s just the way we like it. We drive or ride our MCs all the way from KC... just for a chili dog and good old fashioned root beer float in a frosty mug. Food is always good and service friendly?don?tchange a thing!! Read more

You don't see too many A&W root beer places around anymore. It's usually a part of long John silver's , but if you can find it... separate it's definitely worth going to. Also having a nice cold frozen mug with rootbeer in it cant be beat . Definitely bringsback nostalgic memories. Read more
