We had a great day here. We did the tractor rides for pumpkin and apples. Went through the corn maze and the bamboo maze. Picked... flowers. Played at the kids area. Also, bight some wine! Not a bad day at all! Read more
A great place to visit for a family fun day. Live music, wine tasting, Apple picking and Pumpkin picking! A free fun tractor... ride to each destination. The restaurant is good but a little pricey per person. Usually visit once a year around fall. Read more
Great venue for a farm entertainment day. We first went to the restaurant and had a great meal. It is a very limited menu of... fish or chicken with typical country sides, but they do a good job. There are also hamburger and ham sandwiches. They alsohave adult drinks available. The grounds have a fish and turtle pond, seasonal and country decorations. However, we weredisappointed the farm zoo didn't have any animals. I had been there about 20 years ago and they did have a petting zoo. Thereis a hay wagon ride to the pumpkin patch or you can easily walk. Plenty of pumpkins available in the patch or at the giftshop. The Gift Shop has a good variety of items. T-shirts, hoodies, lots of preserves and apple butter (restaurant brings adelicious apple butter for your meal), wind chimes, seasonal fruit, and many other country gifts. There is also a ice creamparlor at the gift shop but must be a seasonal or special occasion operation. I did not visit, but the farm has a winery. Theyalso have special event buildings available. I suggest visiting their web site for information on all available activities andspecial events. We visited on a Friday and several people were there, but events can get crowded. Read more
It was fun, but doesn't have as much to do as Gallrein Farms, especially for kids. I went with my parents, my sister, her... husband and my two nephews, as my husband was working. My nephews did have a good time and we ate at the restaurant, which wasgood. It's funny, but the kids all seemed to like the plastic Thomas the Train toy (shown in pic) more than anything else. Wefed the ducks and the fish even though it seemed like you got 4 tiny pieces of fish food for 50 cents. The corn machines were abit more generous, but not much. Lines in the store were extremely long, but we expected that for an October Saturday. Overallit was a nice family outing and I know that we'll be back. Read more
We had an absolute blast at this place. They had so much to do for my little ones ages 1 and 2. There were rideable stationary... animals, mountain slides, rideable tractors, tractor/pumpkin train, corn maze, rideable tricycles and peddle go kart toys,playground area, swings, two bounce pads, adorable play houses and a playhouse pumpkin, lots of wooden vehicles like a bus,tractor and train. They had a huge wooden rocking chair, a gem station with water, and an adorable ducky slide that quacks whenyou go down. It was only $6 per person and they didn't charge me for my 1 year old. They have a winery with wine tasting for$15. I was disappointed they had sold out of their pumpkin ice-cream and bottled water in one shop. They have a tractor/trailerthat runs down to the pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins. They have apple orchards as well. Lots and lots to dowith the family young and old. I brought my family here to experience the Farm & Sunday meal but wasn't aware that they don't serve the dinner buffet until... October. We were late for the breakfast buffet that ended at noon (arrived 12:30pm), however the experience was pleasant. Weenjoyed the play areas and feeding the animals at the pond. I'll be back in October so they can pick the pumpkins and enjoy thetractor/ hayride. Read more
Had a wonderful day, picnicking beside the lake wes nice. Weather was great that day. Nice to be able to take my dogs out to... places where I can get food. You order your food carry out at the side window and buy or bring your own picnic blanket and getfood for however many you want. Read more
