The last time I had a real donair was in 1989, the year I moved away from Halifax. In Ontario ever since, I've been tortured by... pictures of gyros from Toronto to Cochrane, but no donairs... until today!!! I wanted to try out a local business because I have been craving a poutine and the usual place I go closed down. I am extremely... disappointed with what I received. The container had next to nothing in it for the almost $9.00 I spent on it. I used to pay$12.00 for quadruple what I received in the take out container from Ravi's. If I wanted to pay for such a small poutine I wouldhave went to McDonald's. Rip off for sure. I get it times are hard right now but this is just horrible. Read more
I do not know how other stores can compete, for the price and the service, this is fantastic. In addition, for those looking for... halal options, there's a few HMA certified. The owner really puts every bit of effort into the pizza he makes. I'll be hereoften while in Borden. Read more
Pizza is good and a decent price but their samosas OMG ???? They are so so so good! I think about them every couple of... days! Edit: I had bought extra samosas tonight, thinking my daughter would like them but they were a little too spicy forher...bonus for me now I get them for lunch tomorrow! Awesome Donair. My girlfriend didnt like the sweet and he exchanges for free. Made her one she liked. Very highly recommended!!
I swear I just bought yesterday's slice,,, it was half cooked and the green peppers were soggy and brownish, they didn't warm... the cold rock for me either, mad enough to post my first review.. and I'm pretty easy to keep happy... the picture shows twotwo different slices bought together..
