We chose toscanos to cater our wedding and there’s nothing more I can say than “wow” . This is mine and Chris favorite... restaurant on any day, but the spread over cocktail hour and the food everyone was fed was undeniably the best food I have everseen at ANY wedding. Their head chef Zack cannot be competed with in terms of quality and flavors and Dawn who runs the show isso amazing to de with. On top of that their entire wait staff is second to none with white glove service (without the whitegloves!). 10/10 recommend them if you want the best food you’ll ever taste at your wedding, alongside exceptional service foryour guests. Came with a friend of mine at 7:30pm on Friday. Make sure you make reservations over a week ahead! They fill up quickly and for... good reason. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and great food. Even on a Friday night we didn't wait long for our meal. Thecocktails are boozy and delicious. Not too sweet which is great. The clams casino was fresh. The fried calamari was perfectlycrispy and had an excellent sauce. The 10oz filet I got medium rare and it was superb. So tender, perfectly seasoned andsimple. Literally probably one of the bests steaks I've had in the area. Highly recommend. I got their french onion mashedpotatoes special as a side and it was rich and dreamy. Finished the meal with their flourless chocolate cake with peanutbuttervanilla ice cream and it was fantastic. Will definitely be back and excited to try the other items on their menu. Read more

I love this place. Had the lobster bisque as an appetizer and the filet with a side of gnocchi. Place has a good vibe with... excellent cocktails prepared at the bar. Staff and service are excellent and knowledgeable with my server reading off a list oftempting specials. Everyone I talk to about this place rave about it. Read more

I had been meaning to dine at Toscano for some time and finally was able to get a reservation that fit with my busy schedule.... Boy was I in for a treat. This night's occasion was a date with a lovely lady who is also a foodie and we were greeted promptlyby John the host, who ushered us to an intimate table set in the elevated level of the restaurant. The ambiance is warm andinviting with an overall festive noise level. We started out with French Onion Soup as New England Clam Chowder. The FrenchOnion Soup was a robust medley of flavors, between the generous onions, Madeira wine, parmesan toast and Gruyere cheese. Thechowder had slightly smokey overtones, included two clams in opened shells, and was by far better than any clam chowder thisdiner has eaten at the Jersey shore. For our first course, we shared Bacon Dusted Calamari, in a sweet and sour sauce, pestoaioli. Expertly battered, light and mildly crunchy, this was the perfect interlude to the pièce de résistance which was tofollow. My date and I both opted for selections from the day's specials, which were masterfully recited by our server, George. She chose the bone in strip steak over Bleu cheese gnocchi and my choice was a bone in filet mignon with a side of French Onionmashed potatoes, recommended by George. Chef Zack Melker has perfected the art of cooking steak to the next level. Combining aharmonious dry rub with searing (rather than grilling), and ultimately serving the steak on a 500 degree plate garnighed withfresh rosemaryand thyme, delivers a sensory juggernaut which awakened this author's taste buds immensely. Paired with a lusciouscabernet, this main course proved itself to be the stuff of legend. In addition to our server's attentive oversight, we weretreated several times by personal visits from Chef Zack, who made us feel like family. Well done! We shall return! Thank youfor a perfect night. Read more
