Saw the good reviews and gave this place a try. As others have said the chicken mole enchiladas were awesome. The mole was one... of the best I have ever had. Food and margaritas were good and staff was friendly. Service was a little slow as it was prettybusy and there were a couple of large groups but it was worth the wait. Day trip with my parents to see the sculptures out in the desert and looked for local Mexican Food. The place was clean, our... servers were polite and quick to service. The food was amazing! My mom had Mole and she said the only other place shes ever hadthis flavor was in mexico when she was a young woman, she loved it. I had the Enchiladas and the flavor was on point. Dad hadsome tacos and loved them too. The chips and salsa were good and spicy. I wish they had some aguas frescas but soda was fine. Amust try if you are in this area or doing a day trip like us or just passing by. Read more

Just arrived in Borrego Spring and hungry. Not too many choices in town but we decided to drive to Carmelita?s. They are doing... takeout only at this time. We ordered food to go.
