I went with two other people and each of our menus had different prices. My menu was covered in sharpie from them scratching out... things out. We stayed because sometimes rinky-dink places like this are amazing? this was not the case. One of my friendsordered a quesadilla and it came out COVERED in canned corn fresh out of the can. Not even cooked. We were extremely confusedconsidering her meal did not come with corn at all. when we brought this up to our waitress she looked at us like we were crazyand told us to ?just wipe it off? My husband and I tried El Jarrito for the first time last night. Initially we quite enjoyed the food. My husband ordered the... carne asada. The carne asada was delicious and seasoned well. I ordered the Queso Fundito with Chicken. The service was a bitslow, but our food came out pretty quickly. Overall we enjoyed our meal despite the 4% card charge in addition to the meal. Myopinion changed about 4:00 AM this morning when I became violently ill. I have never felt this terrible in my life and canfirmly say we will NEVER be back. If you decide to take the chance on this place, all I?m saying is check your meat! Because ofthe way the chicken was coated with queso it wasn?t possible to tell the chicken was undercooked by just glancing at it. Read more
First time here and had really good food. Wait staff was really nice. Bathrooms were clean. They have out door seating. We... had some drinks that my wife enjoyed, along with the hot sauce. We will be back for another visit. Read more
Good deal on margaritas! I had the shrimp diablo. The shrimp were cooked well and the sauce was spicy. The white queso was also... spicy and very good. The service was a little slow, and we ordered shrimp fajitas for one, but received combo for two. Otherthan that, good food, median prices. Read more
OMG!!! I'm a person who can eat Mexican food 24hrs..7 days a week. I have my favorites.. But now... this place tops my... list!!! Everything. I mean everything I ate was an awesome taste experience! The salsa..bar none... the best at any restaurantI have ever eaten at. I'm totally blown away. Huge portions. Great prices. Huge selection. 5 stars is not enough. They arenew Bossier City. And now they are my goto Mexican restaurant. Day 2..Lunch.... I was not dreaming! Nachos were unreal!!Salsa is out of this world good!! I will be stopping daily for salsa to take home.. you have to try this place! 2 weekslater..9 times eating there... This is my new go to. I cannot get enough of the salsa!!! Husband and I shared the Fajita Mixed Nachos and they were fabulous. Chicken and steak both had excellent flavor and were very... tender. LARGE portions. Queso had lots of flavor and chips are thin and crispy! Service was great! We were asked numerous timesif we were okay and if we needed anything. Oh me oh my!!! So many delicious and unique dishes to choose from!!! I went with the chicken soup, add chili rellenos and... jalapeños and this was some of the best soul soothing soup I?ve had since my last ramen or pho experience!
