BEWARE! My wife and I order food from La Potranca and they charged our credit card $77.25 and then when we called them they said... they don't have an order for us. We had to call our bank to dispute the charges. Read more

Mediocre at best. Was just us and the staff inside the restaurant. Took a while to get our order, queso with meat was extremely... greasy. Burrito with ground beef was greasy, to the point it was just oozing out of it. Rice and beans plate that was broughtout was very cold to the touch, and when I asked for a new plate waitress looked pretty annoyed. Then the second plate broughtout was lukewarm. The chicken, steak and shrimp had no flavor at all, extremely bland. Only things that were good with goodflavor were the horchata and the beans. The gratuity was included in the bill at 15%. I would’ve left a lot more than that asI usually do at restaurants but this one definitely barely deserved even that 15%. Don’t waste your time folks. Especially ifyour from TX, just wait till your back in TX to get some Mexican food. Update: I could not understand a thing you said. I canunderstand that you have a very unprofessional establishment and mentality though. The cameras won’t tell you that the foodwas cold, and had no flavor at all. Had the Menudo and it was delicious but turned out expensive. I felt good because I brought a friend with me because he said... Bossier has no good Mexican food so I was able to prove him wrong. My disappointment was it was only he and I tonight and thegratuity was included on both our bill. Which I was not told or made aware of until I left. So with their tip included and mytip… well that’s over 25% gratuity for a lady doing serving a bowl of soup. Good food or not. You can’t cheat people likethis and expect them to come back. Very disappointed and it’s not the cash it’s the principal. My card was charged extrawithout my approval. What does the pandemic have to do with you charging gratuity when it was only two of us at the table and atthe restaurant besides the waitress , cook and her boyfriend? The food is great. The flavors are outstanding. I will be going there again. I hope that they will get the rough edges worked... out. Three of us went on a Saturday at 1:30 pm. We were the only customers. The menu is extensive. They don't have a lunch menu(Said it is in the works). They do have a limited child's menu. There was a very long wait for our orders. The salsa was good.The queso was thin and bland. Our orders varied in temperature from hot to lukewarm. The server was pleasant and accommodating. Read more
