We get there for thanksgiving dinner with high-quality restaurant experience expectations. My wife chose the thanksgiving menu... with carrot ginger soup, turkey apple tart and I chose arancini, rib, and pumpkin pie. We chose 3 bottles of wine but none ofthem was available and this wine-choosing process took almost 30 mins. Finally, we pick 2 glasses of wine and we were able todrink with our last bites of our starters. Then after a little waiting main courses came and we both got the turkey. I said Iasked for rib. They went back I waited again and they bring the rib. This was the process. Portions were humongous, that’swhat you expect on a thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, Brussels sprouts, and cubed potatoes were way too salty but overall food wasgood. The desserts were super delicious. I would've expected better service at this price. Recommended, but ask your server forless salt!!! Read more

The place was packed (a conference on the side and weekend) which made the service a bit slow. Enjoyed outdoor seating and it... was spectacular. Ordered a cup of onion soup and the first bite of the charred cheese was ???????? 9.5/10 a medium well of wagyuNew York strip 8/10 side of sautéed spinach (in the menu it indicates that it has mushroom but I got none) 6/10 and hand-cutfrench fries 9.5/10 Read more

Everything there was absolutely wonderful. My photos aren't so great but..... we started with espresso martinis, oyster... Rockefeller and oysters on the half shell, clam chowder, French onion soup and then for me a lobster casserole, my husband andsteak that he said melted in his mouth. We loved it there. Read more

The meat was perfectly prepared and delicious. That‘s about it. The fries and green beans were OK. Service was friendly but... somehow never available when you needed it. The prices here are really beyond the pale for a steakhouse of this size. I sawmultiple parties leaving after taking one single, short, shocked look at the menu. $12 for a pint of IPA on tap. Cheapest sidesstart at $11. Steaks start at $60+. Are you for real? See attached menu pics. 15-20% cheaper and it would have been 4 stars, 5with slight improvement to the sides, but as is, this feels like getting robbed. Read more

Well, it just doesn't get any better than this... From the moment we stepped into this oasis of culinary magnificence we were... thoroughly impressed. From the dark woods style and decor to the kindness and professionalism of the wait staff, we foundourselves bathed in the comfort and luxury of a truly great steak house. Medium plus rare tomahawk steaks, risotto with scallopsand giant shrimp, creamed spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and a truly decadent dessert. I've died and gone toheaven... This is truly the end of the raInbow for all of us steak house snobs, as well as one of the finer whiskey sommeliersand collections I've seen. You will be praised by your friends and family for making reservations here. Read more

One of the best classic American steakhouses in Boston with high quality meat, great wine selections, and exceptional... service. Unlike other modern steakhouses that feature creative appetizer selections, Abe Louie’s kept things simple with theirappetizers. Nothing particularly stood out as impressive but the baked clams, escargots, and the chowder were all good starts tothe meal. The real highlight of the meal came right after. The porterhouse topped with aged Vermont cheese was truly one of thebest porterhouse I had in years. The tenderloin part almost melted in my mouth, and the New York strip part also had perfectlean to fat ratio. We also got the creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms on the side, and they were fantastic complements tothe steak. Highly recommend trying their porterhouse steak, but make sure to go light on the appetizers as they can be a bitoverwhelming with the seasoning at times. Read more

Met up with my friend for a late brunch. The chicken and waffles immediately caught my eye as I love a good sweet and savory. I... was glad they included gravy since the chicken was not breaded and fried. The chicken was still good and cooked to still havemoisture. The waffles were a bacon chive, crispy and delicious. They give you a kettle of coffee, which is strong, dark and theright temperature throughout. The service was strong, maybe a little too tentative but still wonderful throughout. A littlepricey though so not your casual place to stop by. Read more
