Bon Me food trucksare quite popular in Boston. They say it is a gourmet food truck serving Vietnamese inspired food with local sourcing. I'd saymostly exaggerated. Food is decent for the price. Namesake is their best selling sandwich. The vegetarian option, called JP isvery spicy and tasteless - just an overdose of Tofu, carrots and radish. PROS- Vietnamese street food available to sample inBoston! CONS - Presentation/packaging is poor. The sauces are sweet tasting. The baguette is plain old fashion - wish it hadoptions to pick from. No cilantro, which was written upfront. But no Sriracha HOT Chili Sauce after waiting and hoping for the right lunch with no... notice is not right. Ruining the experience for quite a few customers today is not right. The team could have sent someoneacross the street, but they just did not care. Not a customer any more. I found this truck on my way to south station, and the sandwich I got was so fresh well made, packaged, and one of the best... sandwiches I've had in awhile. The Limeade drink I also suggest, with it being also very refreshing and a new taste for me!Definitely want to come try it again, wish the best for the team.
