The Namesake was delicious! We enjoyed the carrot, cucumber, scallions and red onion slaw. Shredded pork on top was great too.... Yummy with a drizzle of sriracha sauce on top. Messy to eat so the double bags helped. The outdoor park dining tables weregreat. Quick service. Read more

The food is FANTASTIC!!
a lovely little find in downtown boston. there's a small park here which you might not even notice, except for the bright bon me... food cart located there where you can get tasty and fresh food for a reasonable price. my go to is the bun bowl, which is anoodle salad-type dish with salad greens, mint, and peanut. there's plenty of seating in the park so you can enjoy your meal asa picnic. I was super hungry and excited to have some food from the bon me truck. I got in line to order (second in line) and than this... guy cut in front of me. Shortly after, I was told that they were going to stop taking orders for the day after this man! Got the Namesake sandwich and the Food Truck Fave. The namesake is nothing like a real banh mi, as they opt for pulled pork... rather than pork chop and the texture suffers dramatically as a result. Ingredients did not taste very fresh, and overall leftdisappointed. The Food Truck Fave was even more disappointing, with the bowl being mushy and somewhat tasteless. Read more
