On my most recent trip to Boston this place was my go-to for breakfast. The food and service were incredible. It is a smaller... place, it has a more French cafe or New York brunch spot feel to it. That being said this is a popular spot with limitedseating. Get there early and be prepared to wait outside for your seat. The staff is very nice and always make you feel at homelike a regular. The food is is prepped in the exposed kitchen. If you have a chance to sit at the bar you will get to enjoy thechoreography of all the plates being made for the restaurant. I ordered about 3 different things here. The eggs Benedict withsalmon (Norwegian Benedict) was my favorite, they have some of the best breakfast potatoes I?ve had with some of their specialsauce. We have been to this lovely brunch place two day in a row when we had our 4-day trip to Boston. The staffs here were so... friendly, and the atmosphere was also awesome. I really like how fluffy their scramble eggs were, and also their Bonjour sauce.The signature scramble with soft baguette is my favorite. But all other dishes, such as omelette and and crepe, are also superyummy. Will definitely go back again to try other options! Read more
Excellent experience! Food looks and tastes absolutely delicious and the staff are professional. Do not pass up on the steak and... eggs!! Best seat is the bar to see all the amazing places. Manager seems to take care about his staff asking how they are andmaking sure that they ate before service. A clean, delicious, and balanced meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. the staff was super attentive to us. It?s a very... friendly and cozy atmosphere. Truly a perfect breakfast spot in Downtown Boston Common. It?s right by the freedom trail, whilewe waited we walked around the freedom trail. Just a wonderful experience all around. The food was fresh and delicious, thematcha latte was excellent. You can watch the chefs cook your meal in front of you! So you know freshness is guaranteed. Wouldrecommend and will definitely return. The wait is long, but worth it. The wait list is call out only(not texts or phone call),so if you miss your name you lose your table. Read more
It's really crowded. We visited on Sunday morning with my family. Table for 5, lucky to have a good spot near window. Avocado... tuna toast, French toast, omelettes and special sandwich. While we were eating, there was a huge waiting list outside. Considerit before going. Staff is very smiley and helpful. It was a warm welcome experience. Every single food we tried was deliciousand fresh. I'm not a fan eating fish on breakfast but tuna with avocado was OMG level. Everyone enjoyed sweet potato. Would loveto try other stuff on the menu. Wow!! Let?s just say this has been my favorite breakfast out at a restaurant in a long time. A clean, delicious, balanced meal. ... Awesome vibe and the food was great, chill house tunes in the background and you can marvel at the chefs making their magic in... the open plan kitchen. Friendly staff and excellent service at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend! (Recommend goingearly, this seems to be a hot spot and starts getting pretty packed late morning.
