I?ve been here multiple times and the service was good except the last two times. The server in the morning was EXTREMELY rude... and aggressive towards all male customers. SHE was treating the female customers very well but being aggressive towards malecustomers. I?ve had hot chocolate here before and other servers made it pretty good but the last time which was Nov 11th aroundnoon, she treated me very disrespectfully and made the WORST hot chocolate ever. I?m not sure if it was intentional or not; itis not a great picture for a company like Nero to hire such staff? Read more

The best coffee in Boston, all you need is one medium cup in the morning and you are good for the rest of the work day, ... totally awesome, and nice comfy seats and relaxing music to start your day while drinking the delicious coffee, I forgot to addcream to my coffee, it was so good, no cream needed. And the blueberry fig bar was very fresh and fruity. And friendly baristasexpert in their craft. Read more

This is largely service related. Southie has a reputation for not being the most welcoming to people that look like me, but I... choose to be positive & still visit the area despite having one-off experiences that are uncomfortable- like thisone. Yesterday I walked in to get a coffee before my nail appointment, and the gentleman behind the counter served two menahead of me before completely ignoring my existence. I?ve worked service jobs before so I understand the tactic of not makingeye contact to focus on your immediate tasks at hand before getting to the customer, but even then he could have at least saidhe?d be with me in a moment. I awkwardly paced back and forth for a solid 3-4 minutes, the only person in line, waiting for himto at least say something or even give a head nod, when his coworker clocked back in. This made sense, shift change maybe? Butno he was still very much working, and even the coworker coming back from their break took a few moments to acknowledge me &assumed I?d been helped already (hmm- why hadn?t I?). They were having a conversation while I was placing my order and when Iasked if they accepted cash (which I had to awkwardly cut in on them talking) the guy stared at me like I was rude forinterrupting them. I work in an office setting now but used to work in the industry so I understand the way things work & try tobe understanding, but this felt so weird. The cherry on top was a group coming in after me and the associate who completelyignored me being chipper as all can be and asking them what he could make for them. I felt very small & invisible, and willnever ever be back to this location. I?ll stick to Starbucks. Two stars because even though I had horrid experience, I supportfood establishments in general after the rough time cov*d put the industry through. Read more

The morning staff at this Caffe Nero are A++ and 11 out of 10 stars!! They are so kind and cheerful. They remember their... customer's names and orders and truly make your coffee experience a joy. I love starting off my day with a hot cup of deliciousbrewed coffee because of the people who work at the West Broadway location. They deal with all the people of Southie on a dailybasis and they are still compassionate and lovely to everyone who enters! Go to this Caffe Nero, you won't regret it!! Read more
