Seems more of a tourist trap than a legitimate high-end establishment. The steak was overcooked, I was brought a butter knife... instead of a steak knife and had to make due since my waitress didn't come back until I was basically finished, the waitressnever offered to refill my drink or really come by at all, both the buttered sauces were far too overpowered, and my food waslike warm by the time they brought it out because the staff was busy complaining about work near my table. The price was alsopretty high for what you were getting, again guessing the mark-up was due to the proximity to local attractions. The savinggrace were the scallops which were excellent. And the presentation was nice Read more

We visited during the weekend for dinner and the food was very good and had good portion. Starters were awesome - salad, clam... chowder, and especially calamari are all great. Also the black bread was freshly baked and so good. Lobster stuffed scrod wasnice but not a lot of lobsters inside. Prime rib was also good (it was fatty for some parts but we didn't finish all the fats).Cheesecake was good, and Boston creme pie was just okay for me. Overall very great food! The historical building is also worthgoing with good atmosphere! Read more

My partner and I went out to dinner on a Friday night. It was extremely busy, but the crew was so kind and accommodating,... including our waiter Paola. The food was delicious. I ordered the shrimp and scallops, and it came with a chimichurri sauce. Mypartner ordered the lobster-stuffed scrod. The molten lava cake with ice cream was a perfect way to wrap up dinner. Highlyrecommend. Read more

I'll start with the positive, the location is great. The salmon was delicious and the plates were presented very well. Now the... Negative, the waiter was absolutely horrible! He seemed bothered that we were there. Threw plates in front of us, never asked ushow our food was, if we wanted a drink besides water or if there was anything we needed. The other staff seemed very friendlyand personable but this man was miserable. I wouldn't mind paying $150-$200 for dinner if the service was on par. For themanagement-We were at the Chart House in Boston near the Warf, We sat upstairs to the right, 2nd from the corner on Thursdaynight, 6pm reservation. I have no idea what the waiter's name was. Great experience dining in such historical building! We came an hour before our reservation and the host was able to seat us:)... wide selection of seafood and meat, along with a wine&cocktail menu. Oysters were fresh, kim chi calamari is a must try. My ahituna was cooked as requested, it was super delicious. Our server was polite and attentive even though she was pretty busy. Iwould love to come back here again ! Read more

Our flight was delayed so I called the restaurant to ask if they could hold our table. The hostess was so kind & said it was no... problem. We arrived 15 minutes late for our 6:15 pm reservation & were greeted by a friendly valet who wished us a wicked goodtime. This historic place is on a beautiful wharf location. We were seated immediately & enjoyed a delicious dinner. I noticedby 7pm the place was filled to capacity which made service a little slower, but our experience overall was excellent. Highlyrecommend the oysters, clam chowder & lobster! Read more

Stopped in to the Chart House last night on a rainy evening after I got off the cruise. It was a nice place. The hostess was... rude to me and made a comment about my oxygen and if I would even be able to go up the stairs. I said it was fine. The waiterwas very slow. The place wasn’t busy when I came in. However, as I waited they sat every couple around me, when plenty ofother room was available. I did not care to listen to the conversations of people next to me. I was so close to the otherpatrons I felt like we were at the same table. For the atmosphere and price I would want a bit more distance betweentables. The food was actually very good. However, I was never offered a refill on my lemonade. I paid $60 for dinner plus tip. I give this place 3 stars because of the staff I interacted with. Read more
