Came here for lunch while traveling in Boston for the weekend. Got the Spicy Watermelon Margarita and the Crunchwrap Burger. The... burger could’ve used a little more tomatoes or burger fix-ins to give it the burger feel. However it was still pretty good.The margs were spot on and definitely had a kick to it. AMAZING BRUNCH PLACE!!! Contrary to the many negative reviews here, this was one hell of a brunch spot! Was really crowded and... loud due to St.Patrick's day, kind of adds to the fun when you're hanging out with friends. Got a sweet spot inside (coz it wasspouting outside) in the lower section for a group of 5, they also have spectacular outdoor seating. Started our brunch outwith a sangria pitcher to go with some amazing cinnamon rolls and warm donut holes, followed by the farmhouse fritta(which isserved in a small cute cast iron skillet), avocado toast and the cluck & gravy (comes with chicken, sausage gravy, buttermilkbiscuits and potatoes) and the quinoa burger. DON'T ever miss the manmosa and mimosa. Paxin(hope it's spelt right), who attendedour table was the absolute best!!! She was patient and very accommodative, always kept checking if we were doing okay even inthe craziest crowd situation. Love..love..loved the experience!!! Read more
First time ever going. I was hungry and hot and we came a crossed this restaurant by chance. I figured it would do in a pinch... until I could get real food. We first chose to sit outside and it was not helping me to cool down so we went inside. Theatmosphere was amazing. Felt right at home not being from the area. I ordered the donut holes and waffles with chicken. I wasabsolutely AMAZED by having these both. Especially since I was a first timer having waffles and chicken together. I tell all myfriends and other about this place telling them they need to go. I’m already trying to plan my next trip to the city so I cango back to this restaurant ?? Read more
GREAT VIBE BUT TOO PRICEY. Made a reservation and was seated immediately upon arrival. Service was spotty, but the place was... packed so it was understandable in my opinion. Menu included a variety of breakfast and lunch/brunch options. Food tasted prettygood with large portions, but was very much on the pricey side. Review for brunch. Pretty average brunch today and considering the price of the meal that's not totally okay. I got the lobster... Benedict and it was honestly just bland, like the hollandaise was just water or something - even with hot sauce it didn'timprove and for $30 just not acceptable. I also got the Maggies par-tea cocktail which was fine also, stronger on the matchathan then other flavours. We also never got the donuts that we ordered. My friend enjoyed the chicken sandwich. The service was really good, and it was pretty crowded and a tough room to be a server, so it was really impressive. The food... was great. We got a cozy table in the corner in the front window, and that was nice. Some of the other spots wouldn’t havebeen so good. The only minor ding, and not at all their fault, is how loud the patrons were. I would want hearing protection ifI had to be in there much longer. All that shouting at a sports ball game makes sense, but just generally shouting in a crowdedroom, not so much. The food and service easily overcame that minor annoyance. Read more
