This is a very nice restaurant with great decor and an awesome vibe but sadly the food does not match up. We were a family of... five and came in for lunch and tried several different dishes but besides the rice nothing made you feel like you had to comeback and have it again. I had the skirt steak and I couldn’t believe how such a great cut of meat lacked flavor. Sadly theportion were lacking and the prices were high. I've lived in Boston most of my life and have seen this establish maybe 100k times. I finally had the opportunity to check it... out and if I'm being honest, I have some mixed feelings writing this review. Firstly, I will say that the decorum was creativeand signature with the culture of the restaurant, which i loved to see. The light fixtures were well placed and gave a warmearthy hue to the establishment which felt very chic and calming. But, unfortunately, one cannot digest decorum. We started withthe ceviche and sadly I'm pretty sure my blood pressure went up a couple points with how salty this dish was. It almost wasunedible after a few bites and our hunger pushed us to eat about 3/4s but honestly we could not finish it. We ordered a round ofdrinks that I wasn't totally impressed with but that wasn't really a thing that bothered me. Each of us ordered a separate dishand yup, you guessed it, my food was salty and sharp on the palate. Very disappointing and annoying. Presentation wise, the foodlooked fantastic ????????, they really plate the food well here. I received raving feedback on the fish and if I'm in the moodto try this place again that's what I'll be getting. My food unfortunately I'd give a 5/10, just wasn't very good, overly saltedand after deeper study turned out the chicken was a bit off ????. It was unfortunate but not the end of the world. They take reservations which is great! We parked in the garage and they validated for us. Love the atmosphere and of the... restaurant. The mojito and sangria flights were delicious. I got the sangria flight with guava, passion fruit, mango andstrawberry flavors. We got the platter which was okay…2/5. Will go back to try their entrees. Read more
What an exquisite and scrumptious meal. The food was delectable, the ambience was enticing, however the service was inadequate... at best. I can say with complete confidence their beans were the most heavenly I've had in all my years of existence. The porkchop I got was juicy and bursting with flavor. Things to know before you read the whole review. Free parking (up to 3 hours) is available at the parking garage with... validation from restaurant. A lot of people go here for birthday celebration so it gets annoying after a while to getinterrupted every 20-30 minutes to hear the birthday song. But. If you are celebrating birthdays this place is for you. Therestaurant is made up of two parts, the front bar area is more relaxed and has many tall chairs/tables where you can order allthe entrees available at the restaurant. While the back hall has more comfortable seating where all the birthday parties seem totake place. The food is excellent. We sat by the bar and was repeatedly interrupted throughout the dinner with birthday songs.The first three were fine but after the fourth I was like really? I know I shouldn't feel that way and I have been at otherlocations where people celebrate birthdays, this one for some reason was just over the top. Obviously I wasn't therecelebrating a birthday so in a nutshell, if you are celebrating a birthday this is the place to go. If you are not be prepared,just in case it is a busy night. Read more
