Delicious food and great service! We went right around lunch opening on Saturday and it was not too busy with plenty of seating.... Many items come as stand alone so be sure to ask for sides! Overall great food taste. The oysters were fresh with a good varietyof selection depending on brine, sweetness and creaminess. The lobster rolls are a must try with the soft man-tou bun andbuttery lobster chunks. The chicken sandwich is also delicious with a spicy kick to it. I couldn’t believe we walked up at 12:30p on a Saturday and could get a table for the 4 of us and 2 small kids! We definitely... took advantage of that and ordered both lobster rolls (small yet BREATHTAKINGLY delicious), 6 oysters (not salty like the seathankfully), and beers (Hello Allagash). Service was great. Food was excellent. So thankful I didn’t have to wait another fewyears to have a meal here because Eventide is GOOD! Portland Location is more of a longer meal so I’m cool with a quickermeal. Read more
Service was decent, with decent food. The oysters were delicious and come with different flavored shaved ice such as kimchee.... The fish and chips was what brought it down for me. Heavy hand on the batter took away from the dish. Outside and insidesitting. The outside is small maybe four people max per one of the two picnic tables set out. This is the place you'll find your lobster rolls, and they'll be affordable and the price is up front, not market price! They... are smaller than your normal monster rolls, but this is a good thing. The price is fair, the flavor, awesome! Love their rollstoo. How about this...? Time travel is real K? Eat their coleslaw, and you'll go straight back to your childhood neighborhood!Unreal flavor and simple! Slam it home with a cold beer on draft and your smiling big time here! Love the interior design, thelight, it's clean, super high ceilings, and the service comes to your table or chair with a smile, and their fast and veryfriendly! We like this place LOTS! 4.5 stars, pricey for the lack of ambience. We had the lobster roll - the browned butter was delicious. It was much smaller... than the usual lobster roll in Boston, but packed a flavour punch. Eventide has been on my list for a long time. I've gone to Boston 3 times in year and never got the chance to go here until my... recent visit. The brown butter lobster roll was the best lobster roll I've ever had. The bun was soft and buttery, similar tothe joys of eating half baked cookies. The lobster was excellent quality and extremely juicy, flavorful, and test. The steamedbass was very good quality as well. I like how they have Asian fusion flavors on their menu. Their oyster selection was verynice and had some classic Asian dipping sauces. The seafood is of great quality and their beer selection is extensive. To top itall off, the ice cream was rich and paired well with the nuts and caramel drizzle. The food scene in New England is awesome.Highly recommend a visit to Eventide if in the area! Read more
