Fun experience and atmosphere to enjoy a variety of skewers! The loss of points are lack of variety in marination of flavors in... the meat skewers. They are all spicy flavors which is yummy but will be nice to see more marinated options to choose from. Theother part is that the bill adds up quickly while selecting the meats and veggies and range of skewers to enjoy. This area iseasy to get to from public transit and located in the heart of chinatown. Read more

This place has fantastic food. My girlfriend and I live nearby and dine in/get takeout quite often and are always satisfied with... our food. Definitely get the Xinjiang lamb skewers and Dan Dan Noodles. Read more

Mediocre skewers at best. Friendship BBQ replaced one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boston (Hot Eastern) but... unfortunately this misses the mark. While there is a “grill” at the table, it is mostly for show as the skewers come cookedand there are just a couple tea light candles under the grill that provide minimal heat. Some of the skewers were cold whenserved and we were only able to get them to lukewarm before just deciding to eat them. The meats don’t taste very fresh (someeven seemed over cooked/dry) and the seasoning sat on top of the skewer rather than fully seeping in with flavor. Also not greatvalue for money vs other Chinatown spots - we spent $50 for 2 people and came away still a little hungry. Really hope that theowners can improve the food quality/experience as Boston needs a great skewer restaurant! Read more

Barbecue skewers chain that really needs huge improvements. I was excited to have my first bbq skewers in Boston, but they were... utterly the worst skewers I ever had. The 30pcs pork and beer skewers special tasted like over-seasoned jerkies as they wereclearly cooked ahead of time and reheated before being served. The Mongolian beef skewers that we ordered later were good, butoverall, most of the skewers we tried were lukewarm and dry. Not being able to cook the skewers on the table not only took awaythe point of having meats on skewers, but also gave them excuse to serve low quality meat. The fish pot was ironically the bestdish of the meal. It was a tad spicy, but far better than the skewers. Read more

Really unique experience in trying skewers. Remember to try lots of things! I like the egg fried rice and the garlic eggplant.... For the skewers I like the Taiwan sausage. It can be spicy! Read more

We stopped in to Friendship BBQ on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed!! There should be something for... everyone who enjoys Chinese BBQ. They have skewers of Chicken, pork, beef, and lamb. Various soft drinks and tea, some alcohol. They have an extensive menu of which my pics only show a small part of their offerings. When they get you seated, you scan a QRCcode with your phone, and you will view the menu as well as place your order with your cellphone. I Definitely recommendFriendship BBQ at 42 Beach St in Boston Massachusetts. They are located inside a place with other businesses. They are in thelower level. Take the stairs down. There is a sign above the stairs directing you. Enjoy!! Read more
