Food was great, desserts were exceptional, outstanding service .. but the star of the show was the Valet guy Philip! He was so... courteous, helpful, and friendly. He also let us know about their sister restaurant and convinced us to stop in sometime. Very nice experience. Came here with my boyfriend for dinner. Got a bunch of stuff to share: tuna tartar, Caesar salad, 100 day... dry aged prime ribeye, asparagus, and affogato. Everything was delicious. Loved the rose sangria. Great service and lovelyambiance. Read more

Honestly the best steaks we have had along with the mushrooms and carrots were melt in your mouth delicious. Our server was very... friendly, attentive, informative, and nice to talk to. While it was a very expensive, I would say it was well worth every penny. Read more

Overall: Highly recommended and worth every penny, worth it for occasions or if you want to make invite someone special to a... special place in Boston. Ambiance: Classy in simplicity. (I suggest to not dress casual/sort casual) -Bread and Butter at thestart was awesome Staff: efficient and professional(they are not there to be your friend, which I likedhonestly) Wine:Didn’t get the most expensive of course yet it did taste amazing. Mac n Cheese: I love my American food butthey knew how to upscale it and make it gourmet. Filet mignon: Just a piece of meat sent from heaven- cooked for theperfection- we ordered this just medium. Addition: Au Poivre- what a brilliant cream to add to it! Steak frites: ordered mediumwell- spectacular char on the outside and the right on the inside. Key Lime shortcake : honestly I would have ordered half ifnot all the dessert menu but I had to stick to one and what a great choice, the shortcake was well made the ice cream isliterally out of this world and the whole thing just tastes amazing. Having just landed in Boston (1st time) and checked into our Hotel, my wife and I went for a walk in search of a meal we would... enjoy and which might make Boston proud. Walking down the sidewalk we spied a Food & Wine Magazine award highlighted on thewindow of a restaurant. With no other reference, we stopped into Grill 23 & Bar completely at random. The quality of food andservice were absolutely outstanding! My wife went with swordfish. I went with whole stuffed lobster. We had shared sides ofasparagus and mushrooms. The mushrooms weren't simply the typical buttoncap style, rather a scrumptious chef mix. The stuffedlobster was outstanding and my wife was very pleased with the swordfish! Fantastic restaurant with a great staff. My wife and I went over restaurant week and loved it so we went back the next week. The... manager remembered us from the week prior as soon as we arrived. Both of the meals we had were fantastic and the differentteams of waitstaff were super helpful and professional. Truly a 5 star experience. The desert attached is by far the bestdesert I have ever eaten and whomever created the Key Lime desert needs a raise. Can’t wait to go back great food and people. Read more

Finally got the team's schedules to meet up in Boston and picked this place for our team dinner after many months of virtual... meet. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and on top of that tasty meal. Ordered the COD and was little skeptical on how the layerof pistachio would taste as I never had COD with pistachio. Taste was surprisingly good. I enjoyed my dinner. Others orderssteaks and lobster dishes. All enjoyed and gave thumbs up to the food.
