Nice cozy ambience, small restaurant. The gnocchi was fantastic. Very tender short rib. However, was a little let down by the... tenderloin steak. Asked for medium rare, and it didn't look red at all. Double checked with the server who said that it wasmedium rare. Decided not to pursue it, blamed the lack of lighting and accepted it anyway . Grotto has the best garlic soup I've ever experienced in my entire life. It's creamy, has crunchy croutons, and the flavor of... roasted garlic hits your soul. Now that I got that out of the way, the chicken parm was also great and prepared differently thanusual. It was a bit to cheesy for me but it was stuffed and still really good.
