It has been awhile since I had last stepped foot in this bar, probably around 2015 St. Patty's Day and that is a pretty vague... memory ???? This time however I had no drinks prior.... my boyfriend and I went to grab a bite and some drinks around 7:00 p.m.We got the wings which were very good as were the drinks! The crowd was light and seemed to be there to enjoy dinner and drinksas well. At around 8ish? Staff started pulling tables and chairs and a live band set up (downstairs). By 10 o'clock the placewas packed, but not too much so that we wanted to leave. There were people from every age group which we really enjoyed as weare in our late 30's. We got curious and ventured upstairs (there is typically a cover to go upstairs, but if you get thereearly and are already in the bar you will not need to pay) where there is a dance club. They had a DJ and music videos playingon a projector screen. By 11 p.m. the club was too packed for us, but ALOT of fun to let lose and dance for hours!! We ended thenight by closing down with the crowd downstairs dancing and singing to the live band- 'Whiskey Princess' they were AMAZING!!!All and all a really fun place with great vibes and a crowd for every age group whether upstairs or down. What a hidden gem place ???? We were walking on the street and saw the $1.50 Oyster deal. Didn’t expect much but the it was... super fresh and tasty (We ordered another dozen). My family and I were hungry and saw this place we went in and the table was sticky and messy but that’s fin if the food is... good. After we sat and ordered it took 30 mins to get are food. My dad got a burger with Bacon and they gave him a cheeseburgerwhich is not what he wonted. My mom wonted A chicken quesadilla but when it came out there was no chicken. I needed a break from the Freedom Trail so I stopped in for a drink and snack. The waitress was being trained but was doing a... good job. The price of oysters in Boston shocked me but I got me a dozen. Then the size shocked me too. If you are accustomed toGulf oysters, these are tiny. They taste great, but there isn't much to them. Stopped in for a quick beer but felt instantly relaxed and ended up having a few more. Good music mix playing that had a little... of something for everyone. Service was attentive and friendly and a great beer selection to choose from. Read more
I liked it, it was an event the night we went, so maybe the servers didn't come up to people (we actually were almost first... there, so no one was there) so we got up and went to the bar since no one came, but the staff was friendly, doorman too. It's apretty nice bar, wooden floors and all, and we had a local beer which was really good! I would recommend people to check it out. Read more
