The four of us came for lunch and each ended up having the worst meal in quite a while. I ordered a scallop platter and a... lobster bisque. To my surprise, the scallops came deep-fried (it was not mentioned on the menu and I did not know this was evena possibility) with some fries and the saddest portion of coleslaw I had ever seen. See the photo. Needless to say, it washardly edible. Unlike the main dish, the bisque was edible but definitely far from good. My friends had a similar situation withtheir dishes. The one thing on me though was not leaving after smelling the restaurant inside, no good place would ignore thenasty drainage smell and carry on as normal. The waitresses were friendly. Read more

Great lobster rolls at a fair price. Food came out so quick, and servers were very polite. Love that they have the option to get... a hot or cold roll as well! Read more

Great local place to get a lobster roll in Boston. In the heart of Back Bay, it was a convenient location. We sat outside and... had dinner there. Our server was friendly and gave a wonderful description of each kind of roll so my child could make aninformed decision. We all loved it. Very good flavor. Fresh. We ordered the Bostonian rolls which are hot and fresh with butter. So good! It was a very pleasant experience especially for my child’s first time eating a lobster roll! Highly recommend thisplace. Decent restaurant, well-maintained and very friendly staff. Their seafood is fresh and lobsters pretty good. Went here on... Memorial Day because every other place was packed. I also tried the chicken sandwich just to see how it would taste incomparison to the seafood. Chicken was dry, so I would definitely stick with the seafood options. Read more

Joyless lobster roll for $36. Lobster meat was kind of chalky, not tender, and not particularly flavorful. Butter wasn't much of... a butter flavor, more of a bland oil. Overall, shared one large roll among three people and nobody enjoyed it in the least. Read more

This was my first time trying out this restaurant. Perhaps it was off season or maybe transitioning / adjusting to recipes. This... is a one time try and I was a bit disappointed with the taste of it. The lobster roll bread was too thick and heavy. I found asmall shell in my lobster roll (but I guess that is an indicator of how fresh it is!). Compared to other lobster rolls I tried, others are lighter and less thick of a bread. I think the hot butter could have blended or be cooked with the bread to make itmore flavorful. As for the clam chowder, it is definitely a chunky one. I think there was a zucchini or something that’sincluded into the chowder. I’m not sure. It just felt like there was too much going on in there and sometimes, less can domore for the flavors. I know this is a small own business and I do want to be supportive of it. But this first time did not makeme want to go back… Read more
