One of the best Italian restaurants that I've visited! We visited over Labor Day weekend with my best gal friend. Much to... choose from on the menu. Weather was perfect to sit outside on their patio area. Food incredible & my favorite summer timedrink, Aperol Spritz, was being made! I would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite if you are in the area. Read more

Absolutely fantastic. We were in and out in less than an hour with appetizer and main course. Never felt rushed. Amazed at how... fast the food came out and it was the best pesto I've had. Three dishes between us, plus the bread and all delicious. Read more

High prices with average food. The pros of this place are that they take credit cards and are able to seat a large party of 15... people. Ordered a calamari appetizer and the Marco Polo main entree. Quite expensive entree and appetizer choices withrelatively small portion sizes. Food was also not very good. Calamari seemed frozen and reheated. Marco Polo seafood had a goodvariety but definitely didn't firm and juicy but soft like it was previously frozen. Also wasn't reheated all the way and somebits of the seafood were still cold. The food was ok. My biggest issue with it was the overcooked broccoli in my dish and the rabe that was just drenched in oil or... butter or both. The pasta itself was good, as were the sauces. The Caprese was very disappointing and lacked flavor, thebalsamic used had almost no bite and the tomato was sliced oddly. Bread was either old or really cold and the service wasfriendly but very slow, despite not being super busy on a Tuesday. Overall, not great and would not recommend. I’m sure thefood would be much better if they cut the menu down substantially. Way too much going on. Sorry for the blurry pictures! Read more

Service - the service was up to the mark, very attentive & patient. Ambience - The atmosphere was pretty chilled out & a huge... place to dine. Around 2 floors worth of space, we were seated on the ground floor where it has a nice bar and few tables aroundit, nothing that stands out. Food - Long lasting menu and plenty of options to choose from. However, once the food arrive, allthe dishes tasted good but nothing stood out as a “Wow”moment. The prices are expensive where an average entree would costaround $20-30, when you pay such an amount you expect a WoW moment which certainly lacked. (- )At the start the bread that wereceived along with the wine was cold. (+) The wine spread they have is really good. Read more

It was my first time visiting Boston and I was stunned by the reviews of Lucia’s and had to go. Had a bit of trouble making a... reservation just to show up to a nearly empty restaurant on a Friday night, that should have been our first sign to leave. Oursecond sign was the 5 hostesses at the entrance that made it look like we were inconveniencing them by showing up. We orderedchicken parm and penne vodka with meatballs. The bread that comes with the meal was stale. Our pasta needed about 3 cups moresauce and came out way too fast which likely means nothing is made to order. The chicken was rubbery and the meatball wasflavorless. The meal itself could be made better with a .99 cent box of pasta. We weren’t even sure who to tip because we hadseveral different people stop at our table. Would not recommend wasting your time and money here regardless of the reviews Read more

Every meal I had in Little Italy has been out of this world. This was the complete opposite. The meat quality was atrocious for... the prices and nothing was seasoned properly. The only positive was the staff and the manager were very kind and accommodating. This place was a waste of time sadly. Read more

Like many restaurants in the North End now, I'm sure the phrase "it's not what it used to be" could apply to Lucia's, too. *To... see bottom line, skip to end Positives - The staff we interacted with were extremely kind and accommodating. Always filling ourwater glasses, very attentive and polite. Excellent hospitality. Negatives - Atmosphere was very outdated and rundown (i.e.walls falling apart). This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can sometimes serve as a "preview" as to what the state of theKitchen might be like. In this case, I think the food confirmed that. Food quality, taste, and value are extremely poor/low.Prices are high, starters avg about $15 and entrees about $28. We ordered what is shown in the photos. The menu is very long andseems to be the original version. The salad was missing 4 ingredients that were listed on the menu, and it tasted about 2-3days old. Also seemed that low quality ingredients were used from the start. The entrees also had very low quality ingredients. The chicken parmesan was mostly breading and served with a large quantity of a flavorless sauce. The broccoli and sausage pastawas extremely oily and flavorless. You could see a thick layer of oil sitting at the bottom of the dish. Broccoli was unevenlycooked, sausage used was comparable to Jimmy Dean. What was served did not meet the price demanded. *Bottom Line - Wediscovered that this restaurant is now owned by a hospitality group. Where the restaurant is located, the rent is quite high. With that said, it seems that profit has been placed high above quality in terms of both food and atmosphere. It also wouldn'tbe surprising if staff are paid low wages and have high demands to meet. So, if you decide to go, do ensure to tip well. Read more
