Quaint little pub with a decent menu. We had the fish n chips and the Irish sampler-shepherd pie, Irish stew, and cottage pie-.... Both meals were delicious and a decent size. So many other great choices it was hard to choose one. Read more

I didn’t think it was possible to get potatoes wrong- Mr Dooley’s manages to accomplish just that. The “menu” is... basically potatoes done. A few ways. From frozen food entree “mashed potatoes” with mystery sauce to their “famous”curried fries. The restaurant thinks sprinkling curry powder in cheese sauce makes a curry. The sausages were a mystery foammaterial. Save your time and money and head to McDonalds or Wendy’s for fries. You’ll be much more satisfied. Read more

Not the best service but decent for a late-night drink Walked into this pub with a few friends later in the evening. It is a... small bar that gives off a few dive-vibes in the midst of Boston. It has some outside seating in a section of roped offside-street. There is not a lot of seating inside. Open fairly late most weekend nights. We had a few small plates; thesausage, fries, potato skins, none of which were overly impressive but are simply bar food. I recommend the Guinness float.Because why not have ice cream with your beer? It is worth a try for the sake of novelty if you have never had one before but iskind of expensive. The staff was fairly neglectful. We ended up with two different servers and had to wait quite a while beforewe could order drinks and then again when we decided on food. Read more

This place is a packed pub full of locals (& tourists like us) for a week day- seat yourself at an open table or bar chair! We... loved our pretzel with beer cheese and Rueben sandwiches. I also enjoyed their Irish Coffee. Plenty o’ Irish dishes to choosefrom! Read more

I absolutely love this pub! It is an incredibly authentic pub. I was craving fish and chips and a pint while on a business... trip and a friend had recommended Mr. Dooley's to me. It did not disappoint! I went by myself and sat at the bar and ordered"the fish and chips and a pint, please." I was tickled that I didn't have to specify what kind of pint I wanted. The fish andchips tasted wonderful. Almost creamy! The patrons were great too. I will be back! Read more

The best potato skins I ever had! Especially good if you like light fluffy ones- similar to a baked potato but also crunchy!

Great place! The food was really fun. We tried the Irish curry cheese fries that were super different and yummy. We also tried... the Mac and cheese, which was excellent. Apparently they put whiskey in the sauce. They were having a special day of remembrancefor someone and there was live music all day. The singer was awesome and folks began to sing along. There was a Strongbow cideron tap and the Guinness was awesome as well. It was a perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon. We would highly recommend thisplace. Read more
