Took my boyfriend here for a surprise birthday dinner! We’ve had a lot of omakase and pick a new omakase spot for each... birthday & anniversary. Oishii was top class and you definitely get what you pay for. We decided to taste the 9 course omakasemenu! It was absolutely incredible and would definitely recommend adding the A5 wagyu steak with truffle. Every single dish waswell thought out, balanced and just out of this world. We started with the treasure UNI spoons, not only were they incredible, but it was so well thought out down to the point where you could eat the spoons themselves. Not only was the food amazing, butthe experience was even better. Maggie our waitress made our night absolutely amazing and completely blew us away with herkindness. She definitely made our night an unforgettable one for sure. Luke also was considerate, passionate about what he doesand put together a fantastic sake program! I couldn’t recommend Oishii more. Definitely come here if you’re looking for thebest of the best Omakase & sushi. Read more

Good experience, overall, definitely overpriced. We started with some appetizers we got crispy rice with spicy tuna, salmon on... fire and wild mushrooms plate everything was really good. My personal favorite of the appetizers was the salmon on fire. Formain, we ordered multiple rolls Toro Truffle, which was ok but had a very strong truffle flavor not sure if they added truffleoil to it , white tiger roll was kk nothing special, shiitake galore it was better than the previous ones, and the best one wasthe crispy mango it was delicious and I loved it. I recommend this place if you are looking for quite, high end Dinners in thesouth end Food: good Portion: good Customer service: excellent. Ambiance: casual and relaxed. Prices: pricy Cleanliness: great Read more

My Wife took me here for my birthday since we were nearby for the King Tut exhibit. The food from here may be on the pricier... side, however, you can taste the freshness and the quality of the ingredients. The Japanese Wagyu appetizer was beyondincredible. The highlight for me had to be the pork belly ramen. The broth is rich and flavorful. The sushi was expensivehowever there were good portions for everything you got in the roll. If this was closer to me, my wife and I would be here everyweek. Read more

Came for the sushi, but all I could think about after leaving was the Crispy Pork Belly. Our party of two started with the... steamed Gyoza and Crispy Pork Belly. The Gyoza was standard, but I’m thinking it would have been amazing fried. That was anoption, we just went with steamed Gyoza. Hot damn though, y’all can’t leave Oishii without trying the Crispy Pork Belly. It’s so soft, juicy, tender, and full of flavor! Everything was shared, to include the Route 66, Scallop Tempura Maki, andKing Crab Maki. Every roll was delicious, but the Scallop roll was particularly my favorite. That fried scallop on top of theavocado is great. Everything tasted fresh and the service was excellent. We were seated right away, as we had a 6pmreservation. If you’re looking for a nice dining experience and incredible food, check out Oishiii! Read more

We really treated ourselves for this dinner. We decided to do their omakase which included 9 courses as well as the additional... truffle and A5 waygu. Please keep in mind that doing an omakase is a higher priced meal but completely worth it. I normally amnot a fan of fish but my husband and I were on our honeymoon and he’s always wanted to do one. I’ve never really been a fishperson, but this experience changed my tastebuds! The food was fresh, the flavors were immaculate and our waiter was so awesomeand nice. We sat at the bar before our table was ready and our bartender overheard we were celebrating and was kind enough togive us our drinks on him. Going back to the dinner, my favorite course was the poached lobster with porcini mushrooms in atruffle bernaise sauce. It was so smooth and just left me wanting more. Overall a 10/10 experience. We hope to go do it againone day in the future and highly recommend that anyone who may be interested in doing an omakase to go for it and give it ashot! You won’t be disappointed Read more

Heard a lot about this place & finally got a chance to try it. The salmon on fire was a great choice. We also tried the Japanese... Wagyu and we loved it! As for sushi we picked the Chef’s special and we got a variety that we enjoyed. In a restaurant likethis dessert is a must so we tried the Black Sesame Bonbon & enjoyed the whole experience of eating it. I’d come again to trymore dishes because the table next to ours ordered different dishes that looked so so good! ???? Read more
