Cute decor, cozy space, tucked in on a side street, good food, very friendly service. Signature margaritas were so tasty! Street... tacos were good (pork a little dry). For me the mark of a good Mexican restaurant is the complimentary chips, salsa andPapgayo?s were excellent! Read more

Not very far from my work place, we decided to go to a Mexican place and this was our choice. We went at peak hour, so it was... kind of packed but there was some place to fit us. When we entered in a guy came to ask for how many people like almost everyplace, then he took us to our table, not too much waiting, maybe a couple of minutes. The place is nice, tables are made fromwood and there are both benches and chairs. After we sat down, we got the menu very fast, and after taking a look at the drinkswe order some Modelo tap beers, they weren't very strong but I liked them. As appetizers we ordered some nachos with guacamoleand salsa, as having the combo was more expensive ( maybe the size was bigger ), but it was more than enough to try them. Bothsalsa and guacamole were good, dipping nachos inside them was perfect to wait for the main dish. we didn't know the differencebetween burrito and enchilada, so we asked the waiter for that and he kindly explained it to us. I ordered a beef enchilada,but my friend ordered a burrito. The size is pretty big, with rice, beans, cheese and lettuce as sidedish. Surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. Arrived around 5, not busy at all. Had a fun, energetic server who made the... experience very pleasant. Shared a side of guac and 2 fish tacos between 2 people and it was perfect if you had a late lunchand need some light dinner. Pineapple cocktail was nice and refreshing. Fish taco was surprisingly good. Added some hot saucefor added kick. One gripe: chips are very fried, very crunchy and had visual oil residue. Really affected how much I enjoyedthe salsa and guac. I haven't been back in a while, but I love the free chips and salsa. Plus they refill it. The serving sizes are huge and it's... pretty standard, since the food was exactly like the Papagayo in Somerville. I always order the same thing. Sometimes it doestake a while to get service. The bar area can get pretty loud sometimes too, so it all depends on when you go. The bathroom isactually a long walk and it has some creepy drawings outside. Read more
