The whole experience here was a little weird. Sat in the back of the big awkward back room. My Salmon was raw in the middle, one... of our steaks ordered rare came well done and the server gave us an attitude out the door when we accidentally didn?t tip extraon top of included gratuity because our friend didn?t understand what they were asking and couldn?t read the handheld toastwithout his glasses & he was rushing us to sign. This was my favorite restaurant prepandemic, so I am so glad they survived. The spinach gnocchi is SO GOOD. Usually get the... burrata but tried their ricotta this time and it was perfectly seasoned. The lemon in it was very welcoming. They give 3 smallcrostini, not nearly enough. The meatballs are tasty, moist, well seasoned. The cost for the amount of food is a bit high, buteverything just tastes so great. Also, they used to give extra bread, no charge, great for dipping in everything. However, charged $4 for 3 small, cold, half slices of bread... to be fair, I saw the waitress drop the basket, 2 pieces fell out, andshe just threw it at her coworker and brought the three pieces. One star off because the wait staff was very unprofessional. They spent a decent amount of time bad mouthing other customers, while eating doughnuts. Read more

Good place to try for lunch. Location is excellent, service was friendly and quick. Food was good. For me it's one of those... places you like to try but not sure if you want to go back, but not deleting it from the list. The best dish was the burrataravioli, different and smooth. Shrimp scampi, was ok. Pasta boscaiola was ok. Pesto was good, fresh and tasty. Might be back. Read more

It's a 4 star for the truffle ravioli, amazing. Burrata starter was also nice. Everything else was okay (we tried it all as a... big group). The seating inside was too noisy to hear anything. Read more

One of our favorite gems in Boston. We visit annually and are never disappointed with the food or service. The best part of... Piattini is the patio. First come, first-seated, so plan accordingly. Alcohol-free options include a "zero proof" section onthe drink menu. The seasonal passion fruit "nojito" was extraordinary! Read more

Good ravioli - the lobster filling was tasty. The quantity was enough but could have been a little more. If you?re looking for... authentic Italian food, this is American Italian food. Read more

The bread was by far the best part of the meal. Chewy and fluffy and delicious. It was disappointing that a second bread basket... cost extra. Everything else was alright. My pesto pasta was under seasoned and the meatball on top looked like uncooked brains. It wasn?t tasty. My friend got the vegan impossible ravioli and he liked it. I got the arugula cranberry goat cheese salad whichwas fairly well done. The candied nuts on it were delicious and just the right amount of sweet. The shrimp didn?t quite go withthe dish but they were well seasoned. I probably won?t return as nothing was stellar but overall it wasn?t a bad experience. Read more
