Left this place wishing the restaurant was larger, but also wishing that all pizza could somehow be this good
This is the absolute best pizza I?ve ever had in Boston. It?s got thin and crispy crust, the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese to... crust, thinly sliced crunchy fresh vegetable toppings, and thickly sliced pepperoni (I got the Abruzzo). No cornmeal or extradusty flour on the bottom of this pizza. Best part about the pie - the sauce is NOT overly sweet. Compare it against any otherpizza in the Boston area and you?ll know what I mean. Oh, and the whole pizza was $20 flat. A far better deal than anywhere elsenearby (looking at you Pizzeria Regina). As of this review, Pizzeria Rustico has 4.8 stars and it?s still criminally underrated.Go here for the best pizza around and keep going here to make sure they?re successful and stay around forever. Surprising slice of pizza. Spoke with the cashier and asked how good the pizza. He responded and said ?It was the best in the... state?. I would have to agree. Easily the cheapest and most delicious slice of pizza in the area. You are looking at a 3 dollar big slice of pizza that is... crispy and tasty. The one place that gets their onion flavor right with their Abruzzo Pizza. Read more

Second time there this week! I think they changed owners during COVID. Menu is different. You have a good amount of options in... the menu (salads, sandwiches, pizza, calzone, and breakfast options). Tried the Sicilian pizza (thick dough), was really good!I'm not a fan of thick pizza but as I never tried Sicilian I thought "why not?" and was definitely a win. Today I had themeatball sub.... Amazing, like homemade by your Nonna (grandma in Italian), perfect temperature, meatballs and Mariana saucewere super tasty and abundant. You have to try it! And the staff always SUPER nice!
