Nothing negative to say about this place. First time eating here this trip and sooo glad I did. Went twice and got 2 different... burgers. Wait staff and barkeep were awesome. I am very picky on my burgers and these were the BEST burgers I have ever had. Don't know why this place isn't jam packed like other places on Newbury Street but glad it wasn't so I could find a seat.Capital Burger rocks, fries are Crispy and piping hot and Guinness on tap as well. Do yourself a favor and go here. Read more

Classic American, done well! Have no complaints, the service and ambience of the restaurant was great, surprisingly spacious for... a place on Newbury. The appetizers were surprisingly good - we were pleasantly surprised by the deviled eggs w/ bacon, and thegiant pretzel was a lot of fun to share. As for burgers, I asked for medium and they delivered - the fries were very mediocrehowever. Overall still 5 stars for (mostly) good food and a solid experience. Read more

I wanted some cuisine like home (Nebraska). This place is well lit, not noisy where the background music dominates the evening.... You can enjoy a bistro setting inside or a nice sunken patio outside. The ambiance is engaging and comfortable. Staff is politeand engaging. I had a cheese burger, which was 1/2#, w asty apple smoked bacon, gouda fries, and a spring-greens salad. There?snothing chintzy about the meal I had. I can tell you that I travel all over the country and I?m from where they invented foodierestaurants; you?ll not find 3 in 20 as good as this place anywhere. Loved this place! Read more

This place did not disappoint! Give it a try if you were in Boston. It is beautiful and comfortable in the inside. The staff... were nice and caring; we didn't have to wait for anything. The burger was tasty and the fries were crunchy and well seasoned. Read more

This place was okay. The burger was very very good. Our waitress was super sweet she just had way too many tables to handle.... There was a shellfish allergy in our group and they couldn?t accommodate that which is very concerning especially since thisrestaurant is associated with Capital Grille and I?ve been to capital grille many times and they are always making sure to keepus confident that there will be no cross contamination. Quite disappointed in everything other than the food quality. Read more

Great place to enjoy burgers with amazing patties. As part of a steakhouse chain, Capital Burger certainly knows how to make... great patties. I recently took a visit with a friend to try their signature Capital burger, and we were both impressed by itsquality. I got mine medium rare, and the inside was perfectly juicy and its combination with the gruyère cheese and caramelizedonions was really addicting. Even with a lack of condiments, the burger was amazing, and I enjoyed the thick cut truffle frieson the side as well. We also got the pan fried calamari on the side which was lightly fried with thin breading. Not the bestcalamaris I?ve tried, but still very good for the price. I usually try to avoid touristy restaurants on Newbury street, but thiswas worth the visit. Read more

Oh my gosh. After doing lots of research to find a salad with salmon that isn't over $30 in the Copley/Back Bay area of Boston I... found it!!! And it was amazing. It was so big. I had enough for 2 meals but enjoyed it all as I have no time to eat ittomorrow. The truffle fries and sea salt fries are both yummy. The sweet pickles are great. Just like I used to make years ago.My grandma's recipe. Our food was delivered quickly for which I was very grateful. Kyle did a fantastic job of serving us. Thankyou Kyle for your attentiveness. We appreciate you. The food and service of Capitol Grill in a relaxed casual atmosphere. Weloved the outdoor patio. Perfect way to end a gorgeous day in Boston. I'll definitely be back. Our whole meal was so affordable. Read more

I was in Boston for a day and needed a place to eat lunch. My dad and I stopped here after reading some good reviews: it did not... disappoint. We were welcomed with some complementary pickles, and the waitress was quick to help us out. We never had to wait onanything and the food was brought out in a timely manner. On top of this, the burgers were absolutely delicious, and to finishthings off, we grabbed milkshakes for the go. This place is definitely worth stopping by to grab a tasty burger. Read more
