One if the worst brunch I ever had in Boston... the pasta didn't have any taste... I ordered a salad with chicken, after 25 min... they brought me bowl of lettuce with 3 half roman tomato on it. The dressing was only lemon juice added. The server came andsaid: "I'm sorry, the chicken shrunken!! It the chicken enough for you? , it was literally a piece of 3x2 inch .... They charge$25 for that salad.. they also charged for bread and butter!!! Without even telling us... one of the worst experience Read more

The Emory is a great find very near the Theater and Downtown areas of Boston located on Beacon Street just off Boston Common and... State House. Unique menu with Snacks, Vegetables, Raw, and Land & Sea Sections. Something for everyone in your twosome orgroup, whether they want a sampling of small plates or an entree. Make the Wagyu burger one of your selections, it was perfectlycooked and delicious. Attractive inside seating options and a patio. Both bartenders will give you a warm Boston welcome. Read more

I am on Tour with Europe's platinum recording artist Thomas Anders- he played Boston last Sunday. For lunch, he had a craving... for sushi. Stupid me, I picked the wrong entrance and waited at The Emory. While waiting in what I found a nice but nothingspecial outdoor area, I had an ice tea, again, totally OK but nothing special. I sat for like 5 mins - was charged $6, wow -and 18% mandatory tip with an extra 3% for the kitchen - which was communicated nowhere on the menu. I guess I must be happythat they did not charge me extra for the ice machine. I find this excessive, and even though it's in spitting distance from myhotel, I will not go again. Not even for an ice tea. Read more

It’s so rare and wonderful to have a meal and a drink out and both are actually worth the expense of treating yourself.... Restaurants like this are why I try new places. Unique and delicious. I had the duck confit hash and a WINNING Bloody Mary. Andno wait at brunch time on a beautiful Saturday. Come here while it’s still a secret! Read more

Tips added without our consent. Excellent food but there was almost nothing on the plate. We had the ribs, there were only three... poor pieces of meat and nothing to accompany them. Same for the cod. The double stake burger is excellent. Not enough quantity. We left hungry even though we are not big eaters. Read more

I ordered the biscuits and gravy which had a good flavor. The poached eggs were done perfectly. Everything could have been... warmer but I was ordering with a party of 5 on a Saturday at 11:30 so perfection is not expected at peak brunch hours. Biscuitscould have been less dry. Overall solid with gravy and runny eggs tho. Breakfast sandwiches were a hit. So was the French toast. Really great service everyone super friendly and accommodating. Someone got hot chocolate and liked it too. Automatic 20% tipson all checks plus 3% kitchen. Read more

We had an awesome experience, enjoying brunch out on the inviting patio. The hostess and server were very friendly and... accommodating. The cocktails were delicious and unique. The food was tasty and there was something for everyone on the menu. Wespent some time talking to the owner, Andy. We learned about the history of the restaurant and building and it was great to hearhis experience of opening The Emory. We are looking forward to voting back! Read more

We came in for dinner on our first night in Boston. The atmosphere is nice and the food and drinks were amazing! We ordered the... pomme frites (fries with parmesan and garlic aoli), lobster gnocchi, and the double stack burger. Everything was beyonddelicious and the texture of the fries were perfect. The owner, Andy, personally came and chatted with us and was really cool. The rest of the staff were great and personable as well. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in/visiting Boston! Read more
