Friendly people! Good presentation
I love places like this. The Ice Creamsmith has clearly been an institution for longer than I have been alive, with pictures and... news clippings decorating the walls from long before I was born. Their ice cream is all made in house, which we sampled pure tocheck its quality before ordering. I am a big fan any time the staff gets to share their favorites, so I had to get one of thosereccomendations. It just so happened that after picking Eric's reccomended vanilla malt milkshake that we found out Eric himselfwould be the one to make it for us. I can confidently say the milkshake was delicious, and that I only wished that I had hadmore to drink of it despite its large size (this is more of a testament to how good it was). I think this is the kind of locallyowned place with high quality product and enthusiastic staff that is worth going out of your way to visit. Read more
Excellent ice creamery. The employees were very attentive to my girlfriend's food allergies, thoroughly explained menu items... when asked, and served us great portions of very delicious ice cream. We will be visiting again! Read more
I got the sampler which was absolutely huge. I got the sweet cream, vanilla, coconut almond chip and chocolate hazelnut. Luckily... i got a lid! The chocolate hazelnut ice cream for April 2022 was the best ice cream I?ve ever had in my entire life. Thechocolate was perfect and there was so much real hazelnut bits throughout the entire scoop. I am so sad i came the very last dayof April. We live 9 min away. This is our new ice cream place. Forever. Read more
I went today excited to try a new and limited flavor that they posted on Instagram, when I asked to please try a sample the... employees said no, I was confused because not even two weeks ago I went and an employee did let me try samples of ice cream. I,nicely, told them about my previous experience, and they all agreed in front of me that this employee do let the customer tryice cream samples, but they just wouldn?t do it. The ice cream can be good but if the customer service it?s bad and there areso many inconsistencies that?s pointless. I left feeling very disappointed, I believe on supporting small/local businesses butthey need to meet up to the customer expectations and be consistent with the service that they provide. Read more
All of their ice cream is delicious, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. My family especially loves their ice cream cakes,... with an extra side of cookie crumble! Today, March 2, is my son's birthday, and it's always what he asks for -- some years theyhave opened ON his birthday for the season, but not this year. This is your classic neighborhood ice cream place. Homemade. Fresh. Quality. End of story. Yes. Worth the visit. Inside they... have about 4 small tables with approx. 12 chairs. There's a bench outside. Street parking. (FYI-no restroom here.) Read more
