We came here Saturday 8/13/2022 after FanExpo in the seaport area Convention it was a group of 12 people, Addison was our server... and she was GREAT! Great attitude and customer service Addison was Phenomenal! The food was great and delicious our group washappy and enjoyed our dinners the manager was excellent and also very helpful this was an excellent spot to meet up and havegood ribs, chicken wings, Brisket, and burnt ends, and the Atmosphere was fun! My ribs were falling off the bone cookedperfectly. The burnt ends were so mouth-watering good! The potato salad was light, not heavy, also the baked beans are so sogood, also bacon collards and blackstrap molasses were so good, and the bar wings with the seasoning fully cooked juicy insidewere excellent! Superb quality of bbq in Boston. The ribs and pulled pork were good. Came to visit this restaurant twice during my trip. Service... was fantastic. The draft beers were good. Will be back for sure. There are branches of this across Boston I understand. Goodfor kids during lunch. Read more
As I’m visiting Boston, my boy Todd and his sister Kylie took me to a BBQ spot in the Seaport District of Boston called The... Smoke Shop. Now I’ve been to Texas before and I always get skeptical when I try BBQ outside of Texas so my expectations werelow before we went in. Let me tell you, that changed real quick. We started with the famous wings and I was truly stunned. Theywere stupendous. Of course I had the fried chicken sandwich and I was surprised as well. It was delicious. The ribs were excellent - tender but firm, pulled cleanly off the bone with each bite. Great smoky flavor with a nice tang from... the glaze. And the collard greens were also great - a little heat and sour. Service was friendly and we got right in on aweeknight. Boston BBQ - who knew? Read more
This place was AMAZING. There was so much delicious food and it was all cooked perfectly. Everyone almost immediately grabbed a... plateful of meats and the amount for food served was perfect. Would absolutely recommend going here for bbq. There's just such awonderful variety that you can order here. I might recommend skipping dessert as it's a little overpriced. We got the bananapudding, but it's 80% reddy whip, much less the pudding. It's very pretty though! Read more
First time here for dinner and what an experience! We made reservations in advance, but I would not recommend going on an empty... stomach. We waited for an hour for our food and even arrived 10 minutes early. The place was pretty packed with a nice bar andmusic. We both got the Pit Boss which comes with your choice of three meats and three sides. For Pit Boss #1, we chose brisket,pulled chicken, and wings. The brisket was definitely the winner for the meats, it just melted in your mouth! So deliciouslyspiced and yummy, wish I got this as a main! The wings were pretty good and tasty, I couldn’t decide between the famous wingsor the hot wings so I got both. Definitely loved the hot wings. I was not a fan of the pulled chicken, I thought it was far toosalty. The cornbread is an extra $3 and was okay, wish it came with butter. Loved the coleslaw, it was finely chopped up justthe way I like it and nicely flavored. Watermelon slice was refreshing and the zucchini salad was surprisingly prettyyummy. For Pit Boss #2, we chose burnt ends, turkey, and hot wings. The burnt ends were the winner for the meats, superflavorful and charred. The biggest surprise was definitely the turkey, it was perfectly moist and spiced, tender too which isamazing because it’s very common to order turkey anywhere and expect it to be a little dry, but not this place! We were not afan of the Mac & Cheese, it was dry, with no cheese at all, unfortunately. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly crispy anddelicious. What a pleasant experience. I was in Boston for a total of four days. I visited The Smoke Shop BBQ twice during this time. Once... walking in, you get a nice clean store with quality music playing. I was immediately greeted by a server and promptly taken to atable. A tray of three different sauce flavors were brought to me and my order was taken. I ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich andit was freshly served to me 5 minutes later after sitting down. The brisket was excellent. It was hot and full of flavor. Itmelts in your mouth. The French fries were fresh and hot. I enjoyed the addition of a watermelon slice with the meal as well! Ihighly recommend this place for the service, atmosphere, and food quality. Not sure how to start, but I was very satisfied and surprised by this place, food was super good and delicious and their BBQ... sauces are fantastic. We got the baby back ribs they were cooked perfectly, and the pit boss(3 meats) brisket, wings and pulledBBQ chicken, everything was super tasty but wings were special From the sides I highly recommend pit beans ????????
