The Tip Tap Room is a good place to go, but I do think it can be overpriced for dinner. The steak in the Steak Frites is really... good but the fries are just ok. This place is awesome we had made reservations for my Birthday dinner we showed up 15 minutes early we thought we would have to... wait but we were asked if we would like to be seated. We were escorted to a cozy little corner table the staff was very nice andattentive the food was delicious and the dessert OMG don't take my word for it go check them out yourself you will not bedisappointed! This was our first trip to Boston. We had our last dinner here before heading home to CA. We did not regret ending it on such a... fine note. Staff was welcoming. Very nice ambiance. Sat at the bar. Large beer selection. Our wonderful and very helpfulbartender (PM P ck#59) recommended the Grilled Venison Tenderloin Truffle Risotto/lime marcerated cherry/mint & chive. Interesting and delicious food. Lively atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommend the calamari, lobster bisque, and... grilled corn for starters (though everything we had was great). Tenderloin tips and wild boar gnocchi were both delicious. Breadpudding for dessert was basically perfect. Read more
Loved our dinner here! I had the wild boar gnocchi, and it was amazing. Tender and succulent, just delicious. The beer list was... extensive, and I tried a variation of a fav brand I had never heard of. The staff was very friendly. We didn’t have areservation on a Friday at 7:00PM, but they were able to make room for the four of us. The pumpkin cheesecake dessert wasamazing! We will be back. Read more
