Food was fantastic, service was attentive. Ordered the calamari and 2 pasta dishes, absolutely delicious. It was our... anniversary and our server was kind enough to bring us a complementary dessert. The co-owner was coming around to every tableto make sure everyone was enjoying the food and were being taken care of. You’ve gotta visit when you’re in the BostonNorth end! Read more

Oh my lordt! Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to and the best Linguine Clams for sure. So much flavor in... this dish. The serving portion is quite big too, with plenty of noodles. We started with the Chicken Parmesan Egg Rolls, whichwas such a great start to our dinner. The chicken parm was good by itself, but with the marinara it was even better! Thecomplimentary bread was fresh and delicious. Just wished it had arrived at the begging of the meal, rather than when we werenearly done with our main courses. Had a Sandy Says cocktail drink and it they weren’t stingy with the alcoholeither. Service was fast and friendly. We were seated at a table upstairs. They have seating downstairs, upstairs and outsideas well. Definitely packed on this Saturday night. Great for small parties and large groups. Read more

Tresca was good! It was easy to book online through Open Table. It is nestled into the North End of Boston, but it wasn’t the... most authentic Italian food we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, but I think next time we will dig a little deeper for asmaller, authentic hole in the wall kind of place. There is no parking, the service was good and attentive, a little pricy forwhat you got! Would generally recommend this place! Read more

Italian food made with quality ingredients. Recently took a visit with a friend to enjoy some authentic Italian dishes. The... place had two floors, and the second floor had nice window seats overlooking the Hanover street. They were unfortunately alloccupied by the time we got there, so we were seated at a corner table. Nevertheless, our server promptly took care of all ourneeds throughout the meal. We started off with calamari and some drinks. The fried jalapeños on the side was a nice touch, andthe breading on the outside was just okay. However, the real highlight was the meltingly tender calamari on the inside which wastruly impressive. Among the two pasta dishes we tried, lasagna was our favorite. The black truffle ricotta gnocchi had a nicechewy texture, but the truffle notes were undistinctive. On the other hand, the bolognese lasagna was one of the best I had inBoston, and I really enjoyed the meaty flavor inside. For the house special veal chops, we opted for the one with parmesan ontop, and it certainly did not disappoint. It not only came in huge portions, but also with a complimentary beef ragu fettuccinewhich went nicely with the cheesy and tender veal chops. Overall, Tresca was undoubtedly one of the top spots to enjoytraditional Italian dishes in the North End. Highly recommend getting their calamari and the house special lasagna. Read more

I would walk in freezing weather any day to come eat this amazing food. The service was great and one of the owners came out to... chat and see how we liked everything. Come for the pasta and stay late for the espresso martinis. Smallest portions availablebut we got all full sized. I’d recommend this place for a girls night, fun bumble date, or to bring my second generationItalian family here. Read more

Don't come to Boston without having dinner at Tresca! Second time there and even more impressed this time. Upstairs dining room... with a table by the window was perfect. The waiter Kevin was knowledgeable about the menu, told us his favorites, was attentiveto our needs, and had the sweetest personality. I appreciated that we were not rushed (too often places just seem to want toturn tables). The co-owner and chef Rich brought us out his specialties and we enjoyed hearing him talk about the food. He wasgenuine and kind. We ate the award winning stuffed meatball~perfection, The lobster stuffed mushrooms~ delish, and shared theveal parmesan with pasta. The veal is their specialty Rich explained the three different ways they lovingly prepare it and wewere not disappointed! Perfect size for sharing, tender and cooked to perfection. The homemade pasta it was paired with was sogood too! I am curious what the shape is called? Looking forward to my next trip to Boston and ofcourse Tresca Read more

Tresca was a very enjoyable place to eat. The food was all fantastic, the ambiance was comfortable, and the music in the... background was right for the environment.
