I tried this restaurant with a few friends and overall had a good time! The portion sizes were pretty large and since we had 4... people we got to try a variety of items. I would say overall I wouldn't choose it for Mediterranean food, but there are probablysome Turkish items that are hard to find elsewhere here. We had an appetizer sampler platter ($19.95). The best appetizer wetried was the ispanakli -- I would definitely get that again. I didn't like the dolmas, and the ezme and baba ghanoush werepretty good. We also got the combo kebab platter with chicken and lamb ($28.95). I don't eat lamb so I'm not sure how thattasted, but the chicken kebab was not very tender so I wasn't a fan. I did really like the chicken kofte texture in comparison-- it was very good and juicy, though it did have a slight lamb flavor which I didn't love. I also really enjoyed the butterypilaf rice on the platter. We got the lahmacun ($14.95), and it was okay, I wouldn't get it again. The desserts were both newitems for me. I thought the milk pudding (kazandibi, $5.95) was quite good, but quite dense so I couldn't eat a lot of it. Thekunefe ($8.50) was good to try once. One small note is that the restaurant did overcharge me by $16 -- with tip and tax I paid$136.11, but they charged me $152.62 on my credit card. Luckily I caught it and when I called they quickly refunded me theentire tip. Not sure how this happened, but maybe watch out for it? Overall I liked the ispanakli, chicken kofte, rice, anddesserts. I got to try a lot of new things which was great! Read more

The food is amazing at Lazuri. Mixed kabab plate comes with combination of meat and chicken with rice and berghol; very... delicious and spiced right. The lahmacun is very good too. The lentil soup is average. The service is amazing. Overall, Lazuriis a great restaurant. Read more

For my first time here, I had both good and not good experience. My good experience was the food was fantastic. Delicious,... enough portion, good quality, and not pricey. We ordered two famous Turkish food. Lahmacun and Combo Pide. It was fantastic. Also, some salad came with the food which was delicious too. I know the restaurant was not big, but there wasn?t any restrooms. It was a first time I saw no restrooms in a restaurant in America. It?s not a complain. The waitress was very kind to let uswash our hands in the kitchen. Read more

This is just amazing. Great food and service. Everything is super fresh. Slightly disappointed with having to eat undercooked... rice in the dolma, but because we loved the taste and were in a rush we let it slide but won't be ordering it again. Try toorder kebabs and kota! Their meat and cheese pies are amazing. Their turkish coffee is great! Overall go there for the freshfood! Read more

Turkey is one of my favorite places on the planet, and this is some of the best Turkish food I've had outside of Turkey. The... Turkish pizzas are delicious, 8 inches across, delicately thin and talked with a seasoned mixture of minced beef & onions. Whileit's called a pizza, this flatbread makes an incredibly clean lunch, and an order of three is less than $13! In fact, if you'relooking for a clean healthy lunch, their vegetarian sampler platter can't be beat. It's less than $17, and you can choose from avariety of things. The ones I chose were their baba ganoush which is delightfully smoky, the chilled lentil kofta which areserved chilled instead of fried and taste of fresh mint, the feta and phyllo cigars which were served crispy and had a nicebalance of filling to phyllo, and the surprisingly fluffy zucchini omelettes which have a slight curry flavor. The food Iordered would make a nice lunch, especially if you ordered a salad with it, for three or four people. I planned ahead andbrought my own takeout containers :-) If you have any room at the end, consider ordering their baked rice pudding. It isabsolutely fantastic! It's just sweet enough and comfortingly milky. If you don't have any room left you can always take it home:-) Read more

This restaurant was such a wonderful surprise! We saw the good reviews, and have to agree. Service was excellent, we told them... we hadn?t had Turkish cuisine before and they were happy to help us out in ordering! We (4 of us) ended up with a combo platterwhich had lamb, beef and chicken, with rice. Excellent, very tender meat. Also got the hummus and pita which was excellent, andthen some mozzarella sticks and French fries to suit the needs of our group ;) definitely returning to try more items from themenu! It also happened to be their one year anniversary as a restaurant so they brought us some of their cake when we werefinished up! Very kind, lovely people :) thank you thank you! Read more

The restaurant is good overall. They bring delicious bread and sauce while waiting the food. The salad is also really well... dressed with oil and vinegar. I had ordered the Lazuri special. The meat is not well marinated so it was a bit hard. The dessertkazandibi is not the original one. And the tea is one of the best I have ever tried in the US. Read more
