Top notch bar food. The onion rings were pretty dang tasty. The diablo burger was great and the wings were pretty good too. They... don't have the hot wing challenge anymore which was a bummer. Service for a saturday night was kind of rough. My "go to" casual place in the North End as I live in the neighborhood. On this visit My friend and I were given menus and... seated at the table next to the waitress station. Our waitress served us a drink and conversed with her peers for 45 minuets notonce asking to take our order. We eventually called her to take our order two burgers & fries one cooked med and the other rareand you guessed it when we got our food it was wrong. I had to ask for salt for the fries as there was none on the table whichis minor, but this is a restaurant. I asked to speak with the manager who never came, but the waitress did come and apologizedand waived the bill. Unfortunately, i ate one bite of my burger and a few fries which was such a waste. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not go here unless you like your mozzarella sticks congealed and cold, your... chicken not cooked through, and the north ends WORST service - despite having 15 tables and 2 servers on - no one will comecheck on you to see how terrible your food is or even if you need another drink. Was looking for a typical American food place and this looked just the place. Went on a Wednesday which was half price chicken... wing night (on bowls of 10) so we had 2x bowls of 10 wings with different sauces which were awesome, though the pork belly saladwas a little disappointing. More like tiny bacon bits. Beer selection was good and staff friendly. Would go here again if I wasever in town. Read more
